Between Brothers is an American television situation comedy created by Barry O'Brien and Cheryl Alu which is centered around four middle-class African American men who are best friends in their late twenties, living in Chicago.
The series aired in the USA on Fox (Episodes 1-13) and UPN (Episodes 14-17) from 11 September, 1997 to 2 March, 1999. There are 17 half-hour episodes in one season.
Between Brothers premiered in South Africa on e.tv on Friday 21 December 2012, at 20h00. New episodes broadcast weekly.
Synopsis
Brothers James and Charles Winston live together in an apartment. Charles is a sports writer for a local paper and James is in real estate.
The two couldn't be more different, but they always have each other's backs. Their longtime best friends, Mitchell Ford and Dusty Canyon, share a place as well, since Mitchell's recent divorce left him without a home.
Dusty is a weatherman and Mitchell is a teacher.
The guys often frequent The Corner Pub, which is a local hang out spot.
