A thriving businesswoman, Khabonina runs her own dance programme, Khabodacious Moves, a Dance Fitness School in Johannesburg, South Africa that has been running for years.

She also has her own fitness DVD Julukment, that shows how to get fit in your house, using your home furniture as gym equipment from your bedroom to your lounge. The DVD also talks about food options to add to your diet that give valuable nutritious healthier options.

Gym eKasi shows us that keeping fit and healthy is affordable, fun and easier than we think. Shot entirely on location, the show involves the average person living in a kasi who needs or wants help to stay fit and healthy.

Khabonina also gets to talk to medical and fitness professionals for expert advice on the various health and fitness issues.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is important. The show explores easy excises that the viewers can do at the comfort of their space, whether at home watching TV or in the office. It also looks at affordable ways of eating healthy.

On the first episode Khabonina meets Thembani Tshabalala, who has been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. Being obese or overweight invites other lifestyle diseases like: Heart Disease, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure and others.

These "lifestyle" diseases could lead to more serious illnesses like Heart Disease and even Cancer.
