Dr. T And The Women is a romantic comedy directed by Robert Altman, about a gynaecologist, Dr. Sully Travis, whose complicated life is made only more so by the women around him.
These women include his demented wife Kate, his two daughters Dee Dee (a lesbian who is getting married) and Connie (a conspiracy theorist), his busybody sister-in-law Peggy (who has three children of her own), his mistress Bree and his chief nurse Carolyn, whose feelings for him are not reciprocated.
Dr. T has to juggle the pressures of his personal and professional life as events spiral out of control, to end in a spectacular climax at Dee Dee's rained-out wedding.
