Mokapelo (meaning "partner of my heart" in seTswana) is a South African love makeover show created by Mokopi Shale and aimed primarily at women between the ages of 29 and 45 who are still looking for love and offering advice on how to break old dating habits to form new pathways.
Women in this age group are ready for long lasting relationship. With the changing of gender status between men and women, women are also going into the love field to aggressively explore their preferences and are making hard decisions to prepare for the lifelong commitment that many come to desire at some point.
But, looking for that lasting love after a lifetime of bad love habits can be quite challenging.
The series is hosted by author and motivational speaker Kagiso Msimango (Season 1) and entrepreneur Zanele Luhabe (Season 2) and produced by Fuzebox Productions. The producers are Kethiwe Ngcobo and Mokopi Shale, who created the show.
