Doubt is a South African mystery drama television series produced by Quizzical Pictures which follows a bride's personal struggle when her husband is arrested at the altar for the murder of a stripper at his bachelor party.
The show captures her journey to prove the innocence of the man she adores, despite spiraling suspicion and mounting evidence against him, as friends and family start to turn their backs on the couple.
All the while the question remains: does Lindiwe face a lifetime of wedded bliss with a man falsely accused, or has she unknowingly fallen for a murderer?
The series stars Khanya Mkangisa as Lindiwe and Yonda Thomas as Sanele. Supporting roles include Lucia Mthiyane as Thembisile, Amanda Quwe as Grace Mweli, Glen Gabela as Judge Jacob Mweli, Siyabonga Shibe as Captain Dube, Mpolokeng Chabane as Lerato Mokoena, Siyabonga Radebe as Mlungisi Mweli, Nambitha Ben-Mazwi as Unathi Mweli and Khaya Mthembu as Vuyo.
Doubt is executive produced by Harriet Gavshon for Quizzical Pictures. Nomusa Nzima is a producer. The first episode was directed by Itumeleng "Proph" Nkabinde and Sam Setlaelo.
