Tyres & Braaiers is a South African foodie travel show which follows comedian Nik Rabinowitz and chef Hezron Louw as they tour the country in search of the most unique, interesting and scenic braai experiences South Africa has to offer.
Each week the duo travels to corners of the country in a different weird and wonderful vehicle, from a vintage fire truck to a home built car. They meet new groups of braaiers, savour their braai specialties and enjoy a different Mzansi cultural experience.
The series also makes stops at interesting locations like the Cape's wine farms and surfing lessons in Durban.
Chef Hezron Louw, from Top Chef South Africa fame and owner of street food company Sumting Fresh, sums it up: "Nik and I are having the best time bonding over unique cars, amazing places and the incredible characters that make up our nation. The padkos, cocktails and braais aren't half bad either."
Tyres & Braaiers is produced by Urban Brew Studios and directed by Frankie Opperman.
