Synopsis
The jellyfish has been evolving over hundreds of millions of years and shows no signs of dying out; instead its population around the world is increasing dramatically.
During its evolution, it has become one of the most defiant survivors, ably defending itself from enemies despite lacking sharp claws, piercing teeth or even a brain. They have flourished in both Arctic and tropical seas.
Jellyfish Invasion looks at how and why this enigmatic and sometimes frightening species has not only survived but also increased in number in the modern world.
