Season 1 Synopsis
In this series the queen of good taste, Naomi Cleaver, exposes some of the worst design disasters that homeowners have inflicted on their properties and comes up with some inspirational ideas to put them right.
To ensure the whole project runs smoothly, Naomi is joined by a team of expert builders and decorators who turn her ideas into stunning reality, and restore the right look – and value – to their homes.
Many of us live in housing stock designed in a previous age. Our lifestyles and family make-up may have changed radically over the past decades but housing design has barely developed and, as such, our homes are hardly compatible with our lifestyles choices.
Naomi Cleaver is fed up with costly design fads, and fashionable make-over muck-ups. She comes up with a design plan to make both the structure and design of each home actually fit the needs of the homeowners' individual lifestyle.
But Naomi has to convince the homeowners that her radical design plans will transform their lives...for the better.
Honey I Ruined The House is about walls rather than wallpaper. It's about how our domestic spaces can work better and harder for us.
Naomi puts that philosophy to the test as the programme follows the renovation and re-design of some of the UK's worst crimes of interior design, and will show you how to make your living space work best for you.

Season 2 has been extended into a brand new one-hour format.
Inspired by the radical research project "Project Life", this extended format uses state of the art surveillance equipment, electronically tagging individuals and families and installing CCTV-style cameras in their homes to monitor how they are really using their property, rather than how they think, they use their space.
Host Naomi Cleaver exposes some of the worst home renovation disasters in Britain. Then, armed with the special electronic tagging system, she tracks family's living habits to create completely customized living and storage spaces.
By the end of the show, Naomi's team transforms the home into a comfortable living space with a fabulous new look.
