Synopsis
The show is about an Italian chef discovering Mexican food. He will find out that UK perceptions of Mexican food are often not true.
Mexican food is very diverse, influenced by lots of cultures. The spirit of Mexican culture is informality and connecting with others and this manifests itself in the food.
Lots of the ingredients are very familiar to ones found and known in the UK.
Not all Mexican food is spiced, nor does it all taste the same, it's very delicious, not just snack /street food, but is very appropriate for main meals.
