Valentine is a romantic dramedy television series created by Kevin Murphy and produced by Media Rights Capital which focuses on the Valentine family, a group of gods living amongst humans, who must keep their true identities secret as they do whatever it takes to bring soulmates together.
The series aired in the USA on The CW from 5 October, 2008 to 19 July, 2009. Although 13 episodes were ordered, only eight were made before the show wa cancelled.
Valentine premiered in South Africa on DStv's M-Net Series channel on Saturday 16 January 2010, at 22h00. New episodes air weekly. There are eight hour-long episodes in the series.

Synopsis
Sent down from Mount Olympus to contemporary Los Angeles to bring soul mates together, the Valentine family uses a little old fashioned magic to ensure that true love blossoms on Earth.
Grace Valentine (Jaime Murray), better known as Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love, is concerned for the future of her family business, as well as for the family's immortality.
To bring a fresh perspective to the job of matchmaking, Grace enlists the help of romance novelist Kate Providence (Christine Lakin), much to the chagrin of her son Danny (Kristoffer Polaha), a.k.a. Eros, the God of Erotic Love.
The Valentines attempt to spark romance between a pair of soul-mates who have been long-time best friends.
Also starring Autumn Reeser as Phoebe, a.k.a. the Goddess of the Oracle at Delphi, and Robert Baker as Leo, a.k.a. Hercules.
