Season 3 premiered on SABC1 on Wednesday 5 February 2014, at 18h00. New episodes broadcast weekly. There are 26 episodes in the third season.

Synopsis

The Link is a lifestyle movement targeted at 18-28 year-old South African women. The show offers a one-stop shop for everything the trendy and aspirational woman needs in this social media regulated world we live in.

If it's fashion trends you are after, the hottest red carpet events, screen melting hunks of the week, local and international entertainment news - The Link is designed exclusively around you.

The combined experience of the host Lerato Kganyago and the entertainment correspondent Sinazo Yolwa results in two distinctive presenting styles. A key aspect of the show is that both these ladies share their opinions.

The main feature of the show each week is the celebrity interview. A high profile guest is interviewed about their life, their career, how they deal with fans, plans for the future and advice that they have to offer the viewers.

Other key feature inserts include coverage from red carpet events; trends; guest interviews; local and international entertainment news; Top 5 Countdown features; Hunk of the Week and other content such as music videos, comedy minutes or footage from events and designer fashion shows.

All the inserts are produced with the audience in mind, so gorgeous guys; hip fashion; up-to-the-minute beauty information and inspirational content is included on the show.

Produced by BonNgoe Productions, The Link is produced by Theresa Hayward with executive producer Letitia Masina and managing executives Pepsi Pokane and Marco Broccardo. The series and theme music is by Byron Thanarayen.
