Our Perfect Wedding is a South African reality television series produced by Connect TV and hosted by a new presenter each season which documents the preparations of 12 couples as they attempt to pull of the perfect wedding, despite all the dangerous pitfalls that await couples who are trying to tie the knot.
Presented by a new female host each season, Our Perfect Wedding is a reality television series that gets up close and personal with twelve very unique couples across South Africa.
Their dream is to pull off a perfect wedding but the odds aren't always in their favour. Who knew the amount of dangers lurking behind every corner, waiting to trip up the unsuspecting bride and her hapless groom.
Will they make it happen their way? Or will it all fall apart in a hurry?

The series is produced by Connect TV with executive producers Cecil Berry, Vuyelwa Booi, Clifford Elk and Basetsana Khumalo. The director and scriptwriter is Tendayi Nyeke, who is also a producer with Mumtaaz Mahomed-Peerbhay.

Tumi Morake hosted the 13 episodes of Season 4 and the first 13 episodes of Season 5, after which Aya Mpama took over as host, from Season 5, Episode 14, making her first appearance on Sunday 5 July, 2015. Mpama was released from her contract after 13 episodes of Season 5 and Morake was brought back to host the remaining 13 episodes of that season.
Thembisa Mdoda hosted the first 22 episodes of Season 6 before taking a break for five weeks, returning on 10 July, 2016. In her absence episodes were hosted by Jessica Nkosi (5 and 12 June) and Anele Mdoda (19 June - 3 July). Nkosi returned as series host for 13 weeks from 9 October, 2016, with Thembisa returning for the remainder of the season from 8 January, 2017.
Thembisa also hosted the first five episodes of Season 7, handing over to Nomsa Buthelezi for 13 episodes before returning. She continued hosting until being replaced for the last 10 episodes of the season by the winner of the inaugural OPW Presenter Search, Kayise Ngqula, who made her debut on 22 January, 2018.
Nomsa Buthelezi returned as host for the start of Season 8. After 13 episodes she handed over to the returning Kayise Ngqula, who took over from Episode 14 (on 1 July, 2018). After 13 episodes, hosting duties returned to Nomsa, from Episode 27 (which aired on 30 September, 2018).
New host Vele Manenje debuted in Episode 40, which aired on 30 December, 2018. She hosted the 13 remaining episodes of Season 8; Nomsa Buthelezi returned to host the first 13 episodes of Season 9. Manenje hosted the next 26 episodes of Season 9 and Buthelezi returned for the final 13 episodes of the season.
New host Khanyisa Titus debuted in Season 10.
New host Lebogang Tlokana debuted in Season 12, Episode 4.
Season 13 began with new host LaConco (real name Nonkanyiso Conco). Lebogang Tlokana also hosted in this season; and new host Khaya Dladla made some appearances as well.
Broadcast Notes
First-run rights for the first two seasons went to Mzansi Wethu, but were moved to Mzansi Magic from Season 3. The first season repeated on Mzansi Magic, but not the second.
