Who hasn't suffered from teenage angst? Trying to understand what your body and mind haven't fully come to terms with yet? Trying to be an adult, when no one's prepared to take you seriously? Trying not to kill your older brother as he finds every opportunity possible to humiliate you?
Meet Kevin Arnold, he's like any regular teen, going through puberty, struggling to get his neighbour, Winnie, off his mind so he can concentrate on his school work and doomed to share a bedroom with his brother, Wayne.
The Wonders Years gave viewers an opportunity to enter the world of a teen in the 1950's. Each episode viewers were able to experience Kevin's teen encounters, thoughts, reflections and opportunities along with him. Daniel Stern narrated Kevin's voice and conveyed his innocence and will forever be associated with Kevin and the show. Fred Savage brilliantly reflected the generation and age dilemmas Kevin was going through, he received help from his friends Paul and Winnie (who was also his on again/off again girlfriend) in trying to understand his place in the world.
