Significant Mother is an American television sitcom created by Erin Cardillo and Richard Keith about a Portland restaurateur who is forced to deal with the fact that his best friend has slept with his mother.
Nate's (Josh Zuckerman) world is turned upside down when he comes back from a business trip to find his lothario best friend and roommate, Jimmy (Nathaniel Buzolic), is now dating his recently separated mother, Lydia (Krista Allen).
