Synopsis
Peta Mathias is your global gourmet guide for this series as she samples everything from Mongolian hotpot to New Orleans soul food.
India, Chile, Hawaii and China are all on the menu as Peta tucks into a mouth-watering selection of dishes from street food to five-star cuisine.
Along the way we discover that the essence of a destination can be found in its people and its food. Peta and her team travel from Malaysia to Canada to Chile in their quest to bring fabulous food to audiences.
During the series, Mathias visits Thailand and discovers that there is more to Thai cuisine than the ubiquitous green curry.
In Australia she soaks up the atmosphere in wine-drenched Victoria and in Chile she encounters the culinary traditions of the native Indians and the Spanish conquistadors.
