All across America people are walking in their front doors and straight out the back. No longer content with a patch of grass, a rusted grill and a couple of lounge chairs, Americans are re-defining, re-inventing and re-imagining that fenced-in plot of real estate we know as the backyard.
Each episode of Backyard Nation focuses on one homeowner who is looking to transform their piece of the great outdoors into the backyard of their dreams.
The show's host, Josh Temple, oversees a team of design specialists and backyard professionals who team up, tear out then transform backyards into places of wonder and amazement.
Each makeover is worth $100,000 in labour and materials, providing the homeowners with their ultimate fantasy in the show where no dream is too over-the-top for the makeover team.
