Episode 1: Francois and Nerine Pienaar

Francois Pienaar's wife, Nerine, contacts Neill to cook for a dinner party for friends being hosted in their home in Clifton. Renowned for their warm and generous hospitality, an invitation to dinner at the Pienaar's is highly anticipated and an invitation to cook for it is something that Neill always looks forward to.

While it may only be a small dinner for friends, the pressure is still on to create a memorable occasion for one of the world's rugby icons.

Episode 2: Celeb Dinner at Neill's

No mess, no fuss food! Neill demystifies the common fear of entertaining at home as he prepares small-plate sustainable dining for local celeb and foodie legends of South Africa.

Making sure that none of his guests leave hungry, he also shows us how to prepare and serve stylish finger food to avoid the dreaded piles of dishes to wash.

Joining him for dinner is Ishay Govendor, a well-known food blogger; Radio DJ Seano and television personalities Liezel van der Westhuizen, Katlego Maboe and Leigh-Ann Williams.

Episode 3: Sonja Muller

Business mogul Sonja Muller thrives on entertaining her family and friends at her new house in stately Constantia and has very specific requirements when it comes to her cuisine. Well-travelled with a highly refined palate, Sonja calls on Neill to supply the perfectly refined, fresh and flamboyant menu.

Neill knows that he is under pressure to deliver the perfect menu for this most discerning of clients and her cosmopolitan group of friends and family.

Episode 4: Richard Bosman and Friends

One of Cape Town most respected artisanal, cured meat suppliers - Richard Bosman - is known for producing excellent cured meats using traditional methods. Richard's philosophy is to do as little as possible to the meat and rather to rely on the quality of the raw material and let time do the rest.

With a food philosophy that matches his own, it's no surprise that Neill counts Richard as one of his favourite suppliers and considers him a friend.

When called on to showcase some of Richard's new products with a dinner in Richard's home in the character-filled Bo Kaap in Cape Town, Neill is more than happy to help out.

Episode 5: On the Farm

Neill is as passionate about the people who produce food as he is about the food itself. His food ethos is simple – use only the best in local seasonal produce as he believes this translates to better food on the plate.

As a result, he attempts to get to know as many of his food producers as possible, spending time in their factories and on their farms, finding out what goes into producing top quality products.

Farmer Angus is one such supplier, farming chickens and eggs that are supplied to a few select outlets in Cape Town. After spending the morning exploring, Neill treats the entire family to a delicious brunch that, of course, includes the freshest farm eggs that he gathered earlier that morning.

Episode 6: The Distillery

The life of a private chef means hard work and a lot of travelling. As a result it's easy to lose touch with friends. Neill sets aside some time to drive out to the Boland town of Wellington to meet up with Roger, one of his oldest friends.

The venue for dinner is a quaint distillery on a farm and after serving the first few courses, Neill joins the group for dessert and a long overdue catch-up.

Episode 7: Secret Suppers

Neill sends out a tweet that MasterChef SA winner and renowned food blogger, Kamini Pather, will be joining him to host a Secret Supper. First come, first served as Neill selects who will be joining the evening festivities at a secret location.

Episode 8: Platter Style

American businessman and international jetsetter Jonathan Hoffman calls on Neill to put together a healthy, organic, super fresh and lavish dinner party for his high-society guests at his home in Kloof Nek.

Episode 9: Aubrey's Celebration Supper

Food critic, local food television personality and judge, Aubrey Ngcungama, calls on Neill to put on a culinary display of canapés and tapas-style dining for his a gathering of friends and business colleagues. Neill pulls out all the stops to put together an evening Aubrey and his guests will never forget.

Episode 10: All Things Olive

The sun is shining and another supplier visit is on the cards. This time it's to Willow Creek Olive Estate in the Nuy Valley to celebrate all things olive.

After a tour of the olive groves and a tasting of the oils and olives, Neill prepares a delicious olive-based dinner for the family.

Episode 11: Sandy Geffen's Dinner Party

The executive director of an international property empire, Sandy Geffen, invites Neil to create a memorable dinner party at her magnificent home in the leafy Johannesburg. Neill's mom is also invited to the celebrations and we see how Neill reacts to cooking for one of his biggest critics and source of many of his cooking inspirations, his mom...

Episode 12: The Finer Things In Life

Barbara Lenhard, co-owner of Opulent Living, calls on Neill to dazzle her girlfriends with a dinner at the beautiful Tulip House.

Catering for people who are used to only the very best may intimidate most, but for Neill it's all in a day's work and he's certain that even the most discerning of diners will enjoy his menu.

Episode 13: Under African Skies

Neill's ultimate client is an eccentric British IT millionaire who is the owner of, amongst many other properties, Leobo Private Game Farm in the Limpopo Province. Leobo, located at the top of an escarpment, is equal parts lodge and camp-for-adults.

At night, visitors head to the observatory, where a NASA-grade telescope provides breath-taking views of the heavens. It is here that his client entertains family and friends or, more often than not, makes his home available for friends to use when they're in South Africa.

While Neill has catered for this client at many of his homes, it is the Lodge that is the ultimate test of his skills. It is a very long drive from Johannesburg so nothing can be forgotten.

In this, the finale of the season, Neill will have to push himself to the limit in order to deliver the perfect dinner party for the guests.
