Episode 1
Andries Melck, a bankrupt farmer, decides, in protesting, not only to squat, but to return the squatting. He erects his squatter home against the garden fence of Mrs Herzkovitz - where a butterfly preservation area starts.
Episode 2
Much to Heila's dismay, Andries perserveres with his life as a squatter. He gets caught up in a huge misunderstanding in the mayor's office and is accused of exposing himself. Paulus Tshukudu arrives.
Episode 3
Paulus rejects his background, the mayor's suspicions regarding fraud increase and the press start getting curious. Andries is challenged to unbutton his coat.
Episode 4
Andries shares his version of events with the press, Paulus keeps a low profile and Mrs. Herzkovitz sabotages Andries' press conference with a slanderous comment. Milly's research into Andries' sleeping habits is highly entertaining and the newspaper lets rip with scandal.
Episode 5
The mayor ignores Andries' libel case, Sandy Hall threatens Milly, ablutions at the squatter camp are upgraded and the mayor sends Milly to visit the squatter camp. Mrs. Herzkovitz fears a possible court case.
Episode 6
Andries airs his grievances and Heila lets too much slip out. Milly is threatened again and the mayor considers himself a knight in shining armour. Mrs. Herzkovitz and Andries spend some private time together.
Episode 7
Milly gets permission to sleep over in the squatter camp. The mayor confronts Sandy Hall and he makes the mayor feels more comfortable among his donors.
Episode 8
Heila discovers Andries and Milly in a compromising situation and Mrs. Herzkovitz fears the worst. Heila and Andries' marriage is becoming increasingly strained and Andries is depressed. Milly moves in permanently.
Episode 9
Milly reveals her academic side and Mrs. Herzkovitz saves Andries' life. The love Sandy Hall carries in his heart is exposed, and he explains his intrinsic values. Sandy appreciates Andries' barley soup.
Episode 10
Andries doesn't trust the peace that has descended around him and decides to redeploy the mayor. Sandy milks the mayor for information and enters the world of espionage. Andries and Mrs. Herkovitz share an intimate moment and Andries fires a shot in the dark.
Episode 11
Plan B kicks in and Mr. Abraham H. Dyken introduces himself and explains his vision. Mohammad Rashid rushes to Andries's aid. The mayor sends Mr. Dyken on an errand. Mrs. Herzkovitz does some sweet-talking and Sandy challenges the press.
Episode 12
Sandy does some soul searching and gains valuable insight regarding the moments of truth in his life. Paulus is informed of Plan B. Milly has officially moved in and wants to extend the camp.
Episode 13
Threats of assault are made and Mrs. Herzkovitz is upset. Milly studies the social conditions and makes baboon comparisons, which irks Andries. Mr. Abraham H. Dyken reveals his plans to the mayor and is handsomely rewarded.
Episode 14
Paulus makes the big decision regarding Plan B, and the mayor adopts Mr. Dyken's plan. The firm "Melck & Dyken" is established. Due to the "legend of the Great Sephiri", Mrs. Herzkovitz resolves not to forget her historical duties.
Episode 15
Andries sends letters about "the Great Sephiri" to the press and the mayor reveals a deep knowledge of the struggle. Sandy explains theological principles and the "solution" to Milly's problem arrives.
Episode 16
Sabotage in the form of epidemics, scandals and dodgy things in the drinking water, is planned. Sandy's facilities are made available to the firm. During a TV appearance, the mayor puts his foot in it. Joey van Tonder arrives on the scene.
Episode 17
The legend of the heroism of "the Great Sephiri" causes a difficult night for Mrs. Herzkovitz. Joey van Tonder becomes afraid, and a hat plays a significant part in both the legend and in Mrs. Herzkovitz's relationship with the press. Heila is sued and she disappears.
Episode 18
A problem with bedding upsets Andries' supposed marriage bliss. Paulus is in an accusatory mood and Mrs. Herzkovitz gets into trouble. Mr. Dyken's amorous advances are rebuffed and a religious man appears, upset about underwear.
Episode 19
Mrs. Herzkovitz realises a television ideal and Mr. Dyken and the mayor are at odds. The cow has to deliver more milk. Andries is acting strangely and talks to his reflection in the mirror, explaining complicated sums.
Episode 20
The feud between Andries and Mrs. Herzkovitz heats up and a stethoscope is needed. Ralie reveals her documentary program on "the Great Sephiri" and Paulus starts to suspect that all is not well.
Episode 21
A liberal political party is founded and Paulus and Andries argue. Mr. Dyken explains the working of the government and his own treachery. Heila drags a journalist closer and Andries makes a suggestion to the press.
Episode 22
Paulus gives Andries an earful about his aggresive nature and is not allowed to take part in the election. Mr. Dyken predicts the love of his life's future and a great truth is revealed. The mayor goes too far and Mrs. Herzkovitz makes the most important announcement of her life.
Episode 23
Milly begs for forgiveness and gets help. Sandy is anxious that he will turn out like his dad, fights his conscience and once again discusses theology. The mayor wants to negotiate and Sandy chairs the session.
Episode 24
A bloodbath is avoided and Sandy enlightens everyone on baboon behaviour. Andries puts his head in the fridge and the press continue to spread rumours. Milly softens up and the worm is abused for political reasons The mayor confesses to the press.
Episode 25
Crowds toyi-toyi against the mayor and Paulus's candidacy is recognised. Paulus is confronted by truths previously unknown. "The Great Sephiri" is revealed in all its glory. Paulus is forced to deny certain things.
Episode 26
Andries addresses the media and withdraws his court case. Paulus sticks to denial. Andries reveals the past and Sandy explains a cartoon. The mayor is dependent on Mr. Dyken's advice and Andries gets a triple surprise.
