Season 1
Your Date with Destiny is a South African "psychic" dating show produced by Di Rosen Productions in which self-proclaimed psychic Belinda Silbert attempts to match single candidates using astrology, numerology and other techniques.
The series premiered on e.tv on Tuesday 16 June 2009, at 21h00. After six episodes it was moved to Saturdays at 13h00 due to poor ratings.
There are 13 hour-long episodes in the first season.
Synopsis
Celebrity TV "psychic", Belinda Silbert, is the host of Your Date with Destiny. In front of a studio audience Belinda matches single candidates who have entered the show.
The matched couples go out on a date and report back in the next episode.
The show also includes other "paranormal romantic compatibility techniques" such as astrology, numerology, tantric arts tips and "psychic" tips on love and dating.
The programme follows the fortunes of psychically matched couples and assesses the accuracy of Brenda’s psychic powers in matters of love and compatibility.
