Season 1
iKhaya is a South African television drama series based on a concept by Herbert Hadebe which follows a polygamous man whose two wives - and two separate families - have no idea the other exists, until his circumstances threaten to unravel the secret he has kept for so many years.
The series moves between Daveyton and the rural village of Ga-Modjadji, Limpopo where the tangled web of deceit starts to unwind. It explores themes of secrets, truth versus lies and the extreme measures one would take in the name of love for his family.
The series begins with Eddie (Saint Seseli) caught in two worlds, with two wives - Raisibe (Molobane Mbatha) and Cebile (Nqobile Sipamla) - as he lives on the edge of hope that his two worlds will never collide...
As the story unfolds we will learn how Eddie found himself with two wives and two lives which he successfully kept secret.
Other cast members include Mike Mvelase, Mpho Molepo, Aubrey Mmakola, Laki Khoza, Thulane Shange, Sphamandla Dhludhlu, Khomotso Manyaka, Mbasa Msongelo and Amanda Manku.
