Season 1
Blood Legacy is a South African television drama series created as a remake of the Mexican series Monarca which begins when the CEO of Spear Industries is found dead in the sugarcane fields of KwaZulu-Natal.
His murder sparks a fierce battle among his children for the control of the multibillion-rand corporation.
When Khanyi Adesina (Xolile Tshabalala) returns home to Durban after years of estrangement, she finds her family and their business under threat.
After her corrupt father is murdered for trying to go straight, she decides to stay and fight for control of the company in hopes of changing the family's criminal legacy.
Siblings Khanyi, Mandla Ndlovu (Buyile Mdladla) and Siya Ndlovu (Mike Ndlangamandla) are locked in a war that extends far beyond the boardroom: legacies are on the line, and betrayal lurks at every turn.
This high-stakes 20-episode drama plunges into a world where corruption, greed and power collide, pushing the siblings to confront the limits of loyalty.
Connie Chiume plays the family matriarch, with other characters played by Treasure Nkosi, Sello Maake Ka-Ncube, Pallance Dladla, Wiseman Zitha and Unathi Mkhize.
Blood Legacy is produced by Gambit Films with executive producers Bradley Joshua, Benjamin Overmeyer, Nosipho Dumisa-Ngoasheng, Daryne Joshua, Travis Taute and Simon Beesley.
The directors are Nozipho Nkelemba, Marvin-Lee Beukes, Nthabiseng Mokoena and Bonnie Sithebe.
