Season 2
Kyle XY is an American science fiction television series created by Eric Bress and J. Mackye Gruber which centres around a boy named Kyle who wakes up in the forest outside of Seattle, Washington with no memory of his life up until that point.
The series aired in the USA on ABC Family from 26 June, 2006 to 16 March, 2009. There are 43 hour-long episodes in the series.
The series premiered in South Africa on DStv's GO channel on Monday 2 April 2007, at 18h30. The third season did not air on GO. The series later premiered on TopTV's Top One channel. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.
The GO channel decided to split the second season into two parts, calling the first 13 episodes Season 2, and the next 10 episodes (from "To CIR, With Love") Season 3.
The channel was confused due to the show's hiatus in the USA, which meant Season 2 was split into two parts. The channel therefore referred to the last 10 episodes of Season 2 as Season 3.
Season 2 premiered on Top One on Tuesday 16 November 2010, at 19h00. New episodes broadcast weekly. There are 23 episodes in the second season.

Synopsis
Kyle is a sixteen-year-old boy, found in a forest area outside of Seattle, naked and without any memories of an earlier life.
Kyle is like a newborn baby in his lack of knowledge of human social life: he doesn’t know the simplest things, like how to eat or drink, and cannot communicate with others easily in the beginning.
When Kyle walks naked into a nearby town, he is picked up by the police. As they cannot find his records, he is taken to a juvenile detention facility, where it is discovered he doesn’t have a navel.
Nicole Trager, a psychologist, is interested in Kyle because of his gift for art and his innocence. She realizes Kyle doesn’t belong behind bars and brings him to her home while the police look for his family.
The series follows Kyle and the Trager family as Kyle develops socially and searches for answers to his past.
