Season 2
Comedian Nik Rabinowitz and chef Hezron Louw continue their journey around South Africa in the second season of the unconventional cooking / road show.
Each week Tyres & Braaiers brings together cars, cuisine and SA culture. Season 2 will again savour Mzansi's diverse interpretations of the ultimate braai and feature some of the most exceptional vehicles in the country, from home built to classic or pimped up.
Nik and Hezron end each episode off at a local braai in the area and weekly guests have the opportunity to host them. The braaiers only have one objective: to be unique, through delicious recipes, interesting braai methods and amazing company.
The series delights in the amazing places, people and cars that make up our nation, so fasten your seat belts as the duo head to all new locations for more crazy and humorous adventures.
In the Season 2 premiere: Nik and Hezron tour Germiston in a self-built 1949 Mercury Hot-rod, swing by the SAA Museum and end off the day with an authentic Argentinian inspired asado style lamb and beef braai.
The following week features a 1961 Corvette and a 1973 Jaguar E-Type. The guys take a drive, through to China Town in Cyrildene, visit a custom shop and end off braaing in Linksfield with members of The Veloce, a supercar club.
Tyres & Braaiers is produced by Urban Brew Studios and directed by Frankie Opperman.
