Season 3
Snake Park is a coming-of-age story based in Durban with a focus on the current challenges youth face and presenting realistic solutions.
This season, the series protagonist, Blessing, his family and friends face new situations and challenges that either make or break them; the decisions they make have consequences.
The season begins with the fallout of Blessing's dad's death by suicide and the family leaving their leafy suburb to live in Chesterville with Gogo. The story follows Blessing and his family on their journey to discover the true meaning and value of family and life.
Nomasonto is Blessing's cousin who lives with Gogo in Chesterville. Nomasonto is a young determined girl who gets lured by a Blesser, which ultimately changes the course of her life.
The youth centre is the hub of the story where youth find their support and refuge. Mondli and a new counselor, Thandiwe, run the centre, which has grown and added a new clinic to its premises.
The story examines social and personal responsibility and how being an active citizen can better your community.
