Season 4
Set in the fictional 55th Precinct of New York City, Third Watch is about the lives and adventures of a group of firefighters, paramedics and policemen who work on the so-called 'Third Watch', between 15h00 and 23h00 every day.
The show ran for six seasons on NBC in the United States, from 1999 - 2005 and won the prestigious George Foster Peabody Award for Excellence in Broadcasting in 2002 for a special non-fiction episode called In Their Own Words, which told the real stories of the policemen, firefighters, paramedics and other emergency services personnel that lost their lives in the September 11 attacks on New York City in 2001.
The show was lauded by emergency services personnel as being as close to a real portrayal of their work as television can get.
