Season 60
Miss South Africa 2017 was crowned at Sun City on 26 March and simulcast live on Mzansi Magic and M-Net.
The winner this year received R1-million in cash from sponsors, as well as a bouquet of prizes including a car, an international holiday and other prizes in a package that exceeded R2-million. The finalists for 2017 each received a R25,000 cash prize.

The live show – hosted by ProVerb - included performances by Lira, Da L.E.S. and Idols 2016 runner up Thami Shobede.

Bridget Masinga (presenter, actress and radio personality)
Gisèle Wertheim Aymés (fashion, beauty and health entrepreneur and editor)
Claudia Henkel (former Miss South Africa and PR manager)
They judged the Top 12 contestants on an array of criteria including their leadership qualities, communication skills, beauty and talent, physical fitness and a dedication to community service.
