Nico is voted off when some of the tribe feel that he should have left some time ago. Brigitte feels that he does not do enough at camp. Vanessa seems to be irritated by his talking constantly. He was "voted off" on the night that Jude left the island due to health reasons and because someone had already left, he was given a chance to stay but he would have one automatic vote placed in the urn at the Aguilla's next Tribal Council. The next time that Aguilla were faced with Tribal Council, Danielle was sent home instead of Nico, where some felt it should have been Nico. Mark nicknamed him The Comeback Kid. At the seventh Tribal Council where he was voted off, his torch did not go out straight away, but then Mark was able to put it out.

Mark:
Hey Aguilla. I don't know who's more surprised you guys or me, that you're sitting here tonight. You're tribe has been one of serious ups for a while and now lows. Two Tribal Council's in a row. Mzi, how did the challenge today play out in your mind?

Mzi: For about 30 minutes you're standing there this constant assurance that you got this one in the bag and it's like that every second of that 30 minutes. And when you expect to get crashed from next door it happens right from underneath your feet. This was the first time we lost a challenge and I personally felt very emotionally moved. I think ... I stood there for a few seconds when the whole thing was over. I couldn't believe how I could have lost. I'm still baffled to say the least, but how the heck could we have lost today's challenge because we had it.

Mark: Brigitte, super hunter gatherer next to you you. Clearly defined role in the tribe. Tell me about Nico's role?

Brigitte: I don't feel that Nico has such a huge rold in the camp at all. I don't think he does much.

Nico: That's a blatant lie. I've cooked the fish from day one. Mzi who's been cooking the fish?

Mzi: You have beem.

Nico: Vanessa?

Vanessa: You've cooked the fish.

Nico: I don't need to listen to Brigitte. She has nothing to say in my favour. It's a waste of conversation.

Mark: Brigitte?

Brigitte: Nico is pretty good at swinging stories to suit himself whenever it suits him. After all he is the one that's been trying to vote me out all this time.

Nico: Cause you were the plan B after Sam.

Brigitte: Well obviously you were more in plan B then I was.

Nico: Brigitte's managed to play them like a deck of cards, all 52 cards of a deck. Starting out on the days of Sam when she never said a word to Vanessa for four or five days. She's got Vanessa round her finger now. She was the first to go until the guys said no it's to be Sam. Also wouldn't give Mzi the time of day. Today she's playing them like a deck of cards. And I'd like to see where she's going to go in this game. It's actually very intriguing. Very intrigued.

Mark: Vanessa, you think you're being played?

Vanessa: Being played like a deck of cards. I have my own mind. I'll make it up how I see fit. We'll see if I'm being played or not.

Mark: Brigitte, clearly there's no love lost between you and Nico?

Nico: But Brigitte has a wonderful way with words. Wake up in the morning. "Mzi, how did you sleep? I slept like this." "Vanessa, how did you sleep? I slept crap, my back." And it stops right there. Then I have to ask Vanessa why don't you ask how I slept? She just cut off to me like I'm non-existant.

Brigitte: Well if you want to speak to me then ..

Nico: Not may I have some more coffee please. "I'll have some more." It's like that all day. I don't know which country she comes from but I can't relate to that. I'd rather dig a hole and bury myself in it.

Brigitte: You already have.

Mark: Clearly you feeling ostracised.

Nico: Clearly I am ready to leave tonight. I was just being myself  the way I know, doing what I do, And that was it. I never changed like this to everybody. I was the same from day one and they know it. And they can nod their heads, they know it. I never had one person I stuck with or one or two alliances. We were in it from the word go.

Mark: In the face of anything is possible coming your way. How strong is your loyalty to the people sitting around you now, even with an uncertain future.

Vanessa: Very strong.

Mark: Brigitte?

Brigitte: Very strong.

Mark: Mzi?

Mzi: I totally ... very strong.

Mark: Nico?

Nico: I have no say here. You must ask Brigitte if I'm allowed to say anything.

Mark: Let's get to the vote. Mzi go ahead.

Mzi votes.
Brigitte votes.
Nico votes for Brigitte.
Nico: The time will come when the joker plays on you, The cards from your deck will be running out soon.
Vanessa votes.

Mark: As the rain starts to fall I'll collect the votes.
Once the votes have been read the person with the most votes will need to bring me their torch and leave he Tribal Council area immediately.
I'll count the votes.
Brigitte.
Nico.
One vote Brigitte, one vote Nico.
Nico.
One vote Brigitte, two votes Nico.
The next person to he voted out of Survivor South Africa ... Nico.

Bring me your torch please. Nico the tribe has spoken.
Mark has trouble extinguishing Nico's torch, but then eventually it goes out.
Almost another comeback.

Nico leaves the Tribal Council area.

Mark: This is turning into a whole new game and tomorrow will bring a whole new begining. Take your torches and head back to your island.

After the Tribal Council.
Nico: Aguilla haivng one tribe member short, it looks like Rana has the upper hand, the pyschological hand as well and I think they gonna pick them off like daisies. If I had to bump into them in the street, I'd say hi, go for a little coffee maybe. But I most certainly wouldn't look them up in the yellow pages.
