Shaun Tait (14) from Brackenfell in Cape Town won the second season of Afrikaans reality singing competition
Supersterre in the final extravaganza that was broadcast last Friday (17 November) on SABC2.
The finale took place at Carnival City two days earlier.
Tait won a recording contract with Sony BMG, as well as R100,000.

Nádine - won a million-rand property on a game farm, sponsored by
Steve Hofmeyr.
George Meiring (31) from Johannesburg landed second place in the competition and in an unexpected twist he also received a recording contract from Sony BMG.
Tasmia Aboobaker (29) from Durban and 'SuperNova'
Shelley Gordon (17) from Kuilsriver in Cape Town tied for third place.
More than 3,500 people entered Supersterre. The show was created by
Patricia Lewis.
