So what is the 411 with Ntombi’s parents? Why was Samuel warning Sbusiso about them, and why is Ntombi being so cagey about them and not wanting to tell them about Sbusiso? Is it yet one of those build ups to a flop of an attempted killer story line? I wouldn’t be surprised if this supposed build up to the “shock” ended up as another disastrous exercise.
Now, about that title that made you read this article in the first place, I was really disturbed by the sight of
Khaphela in a suit last night. I don’t know if he looked uncomfortable in the suit or whether the suit looked shocked to be on him but it was a sight no one should be allowed to see again. Did the tie have to be so tight?
Now that he and Magda are the “it” couple of Generations, shouldn’t Magda get a makeover of some sort? Generations actors should not be allowed to do their hair “anywhere”…or does her look translates to “
keeping it real”?
Well, I have always wondered about Vho-Makhadzi’s French manicure in the middle of rural Venda (Muvhango) so maybe the G Spot folk are trying to keep Magda’s look up with her supposed background.
Yho! Khaphela has been with more women than Mr. Mogale and Sbusiso on the show but he has seen less “action”, or is it no action at all? Firstly Thenjiwe, Nomasonto and now Magda.
Shame, I heard Magda quiz him about whether he was okay with the fact that she wasn’t ready to get physical and I was like
“Damn gal, that man doesn’t know otherwise. E rusitse moo e leng ek se.”
I was intrigued by what somebody said to me about Generations’ cameramen and how they always focused on Cleo’s behind. He said that Generations has always been one to show us the top half of the characters’ body but that was until Cleo joined the show. How many times have you seen Cleo turn her back to the camera to give us a view of her future? Several…Eish maar I guess we all have theories we hope are true!
What happened to Karabo as the leading fashion lady of Generations? Sonia Mbele (or is Sedibe now) stepped in and all the attention focused on her. Her makeup is flawless, her outfits are always to die for, and her skin is just so beautiful. If anyone ever made a good decision about joining Generations, it is Sonia Mbele. She has since turned into an A list star, I tell you. That woman knows that she is guaranteed VIP seats at the 2010 World Cup Final! Getting hooked up with Leslie, who is one of those people who are famous and everywhere, without you knowing why exactly…you know, like why Uyanda Mbuli is supposed to be important?? Good move Sonia, you just keep on doing your thang gal and much congrats on the wedding!!
Now back to Generations…
Karabo is the central figure on the show and I hate seeing her so “neglected”. She just looks so lifeless man and it’s not even about her character being a troubled soul, from the minute I saw her rocking the grey skirt, I knew things wouldn’t be the same. What happened to the former model Karabo? Is old age catching up with her?
Enough about clothes now, let’s talk about the story.
Have the writers forgotten about Sarafina? I meant Busi but really, whenever she opens her mouth, I want to start singing
…”Hallowed, be thy name….” When was the last time you guys saw her act?
Unbelievable how SA’s number one soap has turned SA’s top actors into nobodies. I will not stop saying this :
Vusi Kunene, you are getting wasted as Jack Mabaso….
Khalo Matabane help a brother out!!
I hope Cleo has really left this time around…she gave her bike “Destiny” to Ajax, as an 18th birthday gift and Zamani was fuming. Yeah shame, a bike is more glam than a return ticket to Cape Town with a wimp of a brother so Ajax was ecstatic. I will not waste any more time on how irritating Zamani’s character is, until he does something meaningful, his name shall not be mentioned in this blog. (Eish, I hope angizicosti la)
Until someone listens, I will also not stop saying that Ajax is terrible at speaking Xhosa!!! Make him stop, please!!!!
Sbusiso is still keeping his “sex escapade” with Karabo a secret from Ntombi, who is also annoyingly asking if he’s keeping secrets from her. Really, it wouldn’t be a secret if he shared it with you, now would it? Was so bored when she started on that “marriage, honesty speech”…Damn, you watch one soapie but it feels like you’ve seen all of them.
Sbusiso, out of shock, took Karabo to lunch and made her promise to keep the “slept together” bit just between them.
On that note, was there any reason for Karabo to tell Cleo about her pregnancy? What about Angela telling Ajax that her “guardian is pregnant with her best friend’s boyfriend’s baby?”
Oh, and what was up with Anne thinking that Sbuda could be into her?
He he Khethiwe and Ace are going out!!! Checked out Ace’s mouth, saw a horrifying set of teeth and decided I ain’t looking forward to the kissing scenes between them so Khethiwe better play hard to get.
Damn, why does Generations subject us to such horrific kissing scenes? There are so many youngsters in the G Spot but we were tortured by Ntombi/Thomas, Khaphela/Magda and now possibly Khethiwe and Ace?
How about Dineo and Sammy getting it on? Wouldn’t that be awesome! The kiss between Thomas and Jackie was hott though and I don’t like Thandeka much so I wasn’t paying much attention to the kiss she forced on Zamani.
Poor Zamani
(damn, didn’t take me long to mention his name again) has lost Jackie because of the damn Thandeka kiss.
Jackie also had to clear the air with Thomas, after their “angry” kiss and I liked how honest she was about her reason being the fact that she wanted to make someone jealous. Thomas didn’t seem to care when he heard that. He’s always looking for the next conquest, could never be bothered about being turned down. I mean, check how quickly he forgot his undying love for Ntombi!
Characters in need of a makeover: • Magda
• Duma needs to shave them dreads off
• Khaphela needs a good clean shave
• Sbusiso needs a serious workout
• There is no hope for Kenneth Mashaba.
Thank you wardrobe guys for Zamani’s clothes, much improvement!!
G Spot actors in need of new roles: • Vusi Kunene
• Leleti Khumalo
