Saturday, 09 June came and we made our way to Hellen Zille's kingdom, Cape Town and the weather was wet and horrible as usual.
Oh dear, party people don't care about the weather, if a gig is at a club then you forget all about the weather coz you know it's gonna be hott inside.
Hot, it was.
Part of my excitement for going there was meeting the TVSA readers that won the double tickets and Channel O hampers. Only 2 of the 5 pitched and 2 was enough to convince me that this website attracts the finest of the fine.
The TVSA baby was there looking all grown up and cute.
She could have been mistaken for a Channel O Presenter but that's actually our very own
Cande-gal. Ain't she the cutest thing you've seen?
When it was time for her to go, I dragged her all around the club looking for Lungsta so they could meet but there was just no sign of him.
Or maybe Lahvee had disappeared with him, we don't know.....
Sorry
Lahvee, but you two look more like brother and sister than anything else...or maybe am just jealous hi hi hi.
Got to meet the beautiful driver of Horizon Deep Bus and she's just as bubbly in person.
They insisted on posing with
Miss World. he he he he
Permission to save this as your desktop/ screensaver is granted!! Hot chicks without make up are a rare find my friend. LOL
THE DATES...
A quick demonstration that it doesn't matter how hott you are, hot brothers are a scarce commodity...
Cande brought her cousin...
Cute...they are the same age, which means uCande, ugugele ngaphakathi..
Lahvee brought her gals, Tebogo and Palesa. One of them was almost kidnapped by a Zimbabwean brother...
And I brought my nephew...he's just one of those kids that grow up too fast, please it doesn't mean I'm an ou toppie...he he he.
With no hott brother to keep me company, I had to go around digging for gossip...*
sigh*DANCE AFRICANS, DANCE!So we were there for Dance Africa finals and though I will tell you more about the competition in Part 2, here are a few of my thoughts.
The top 4 finalists were revealed and I was left stunned as to how that beautiful chick, Tania (pink top) made it there.
Whoever said "It's not about looks." didn't know what they were talking about.
That gal DID NOTHING to deserve that spot.
But then again, it's not like they had the best choreographer...he he he heh maan Angelo is the most "styf" choreographer I've ever seen hi hi hi.
Or maybe he was just made for those one-on-one private dances...mmmhhh, I would pay money for him to dance for me...
His dancers seemed to be having lotsa fun. The crowd seemed to love them too.
Now, you will have to read Part 2 to find out which artist from a gal group decided to go on stage with a hole on her "fit" thigh.
Or maybe it was done on purpose to draw our attention to just how gorgeous her legs are.
Yeah, she looks good and I promise, it's not jealousy that made me focus on that mbobo!!!
The gal in the brown top just wanted to share tips on
"when not to wear a figure belt".
I wasn't out looking for such things, that "mkhaba" just caught my attention....
This picture really scares me because when I took their picture I really thought they were all handsome and it's only when I got home and looked at this that I realized that only 3 are. That one with the pink top is cute...
Lesson: Don't believe everything you see in the dark...or under the influence of something Lungsta made you drink...
Oh well, the boys said they wanted to be on TV but I told them the best I could do was put them on TVSA. They said I must tell you that Cape Town Boys are hott. Are they?
I'm sorry that I didn't have a chance to tell this guy that walking around with a towel on your head ain't exactly considered hott in SA.
The gal next to him is my favourite to win the competition....
Yes, amidst a lot of confusion, we didn't find out who the actual winner of Dance Africa is....
Read all about it in Part 2 but before that....
Does anyone know if Tselane Tambo's Etiquette school is still open? I have a picking-her -nose-in-public candidate I want to send. Hope charm is in the curriculum too.
When she graduates from that school, I want to send her to Jabu Stone for a hair dye coz those dreadlocks look like they were forced to bake in the sun for 48 hours. Gaaaad Tshidi!!!!
P.S. Until somebody offers to help with this picture thing...just smile and bear it :)
