As we established in the first article, there are industry moguls who turn naive and trustful entertainers into their cash cows. They make exorbitant amounts of cash and dangle bling and other frivolous trifles to the faces of those who are either too happy that they are famous or genuinely don't know better. Sometimes these big culprits have no shame and others are former singers et al. Here are some of the stars most hardly hit by this pandemic which is greed.
5. Kelly Khumalo
Ok we know she is always the first one to bemoan her victimhood but very reliable sources have confirmed that her claims that Bonsai Entertainment took advantage of her naivity and gave her an appaling percentage from the sales of her debut album. I magine how miniscule the amount might have been considering that her album did so poorly. As one respected journalist noted this weekend: " A lot of men drool over Kelly's nudity but very few people (including those men) actually show any genuine interest in her music.
4. Trompies
I am unfortunately not privy to their business dealings with their record company but I have been informed that they have been exploited by some DJ's, promoters etc. Some of them ( Trompies that is) have done extremely well while others (again I am not mentioning names) can hardly support the scores of kids they have.
NB: i have mentioned that I haven't got info on their dealings with their record company Kalawa. Anyone with info plz holla here or at :

3. Lira
Was exploited by you know who. All I can say is: she did a good thing by weaning herself from 999. She was gracious enough not to badmouth anyone in the papers but information always leaks and yes we know the goings on over there.
2.Busi Mhlongo
SHe has one of the most powerful voices in the industray and has been singing forever (here and abroad) but she can't even afford to buy a house.
1.Mahotela Queens
Oh bless them, bless them, the poor gogos. For this I didn't have to do much fishing. Thay came up on Noleen and said that they were paid 9 rands a day whether they did 2 or 5 shows. I have been informed that until about 7 years ago, they were paid a fixed salary (which was shamefully measly) for their albums, ntothing for Royalties.
NB: i''m told that Chomee is also in quite a dilemma but I don't wanna write articles on the basis of hearsay and gossip, I 'll do some digging myself. Or if anyone knows anything(and I trust that bloggers do) holla at me plz.
Guys as in my first article, I mentioned in passing that other entertainers who have since passed away were also explited. I decided not to include them (for the sake of respect)
Nb: I also decided not to publish the article on entertainers who are rich and yet have not tertiary qualification( for the sake of political harmony hi hi hi).
enjoy!
