Last nights BB eviction show was
such a waste of our time I ended up fast forwarding through most of it right up until evicted Jeff blurted out that he'd been aroused by Tathinia.
From the looks of it the show's assuming they've got us all so hooked they don't need to bother to do anything to make the weekly eviction even vaguely juicy - let alone organise that everything runs smoothly.
The whole thing was a mess - from the equipment that wouldn't work for the first musos to the BB doors that wouldn't let Jeff out to the rubbishy way last weeks footage was slapped together.
None of the footage they showed from the week highlighted what the task was or important things they'd been up to in between and nothing was edited together or narrated to give any commentary on overall intrigue and developments in terms of the storylines.
It was like the production literally fast forwarded through the footage for half an hour, took clips wherever they happened to pause and that was it - the final content for what should be the most important, most focused episode of the week.
As for all those musical numbers that steal at least a third of the time -
why are they there?? They serve no purpose except to drag it all out and make it clear that nobody was in the mood to put together something exciting for us by way of the eviction itself.
I was verry unimpressed by it all and by the time Jeff came bulldozing out going on about his responsibility and guilt blah blah at not staying for Kenya I wanted to clobber him out of boredom.
Speaking of country's, I was interested that Maureen only narrowly beat him by 1 vote - it wasn't a surpise that he got whacked, he's had it coming from day 1 of course but it was noteworthy that it wasn't a landslide - clearly no-one minds if creepazoid Maureen goes too (how's her mom for also being a weirdo).
I never see Maureen doing anything anywhere - the only time I've seen her properly was when she was dancing in front of the mirrors for herself on the first Friday night and then when she's creeping up to Code but other than that I don't have one clue what she actually does. If she's up again this week I reckon she'll be history. Yawn.
Hopefully that won't happen and it'll be Richard and Tathinia on the chop with Head Of House Max making noo changes to the line-up.
