Masechaba Moshoeshoe shall replace Xolani Gwala on Asikhulume SABC 1

I caught a glimpse of Asikhulume on SABC 1 this past Sunday and thought the lady presenter's skills was not up to scratch.

Maybe she's good on other things but not on presenting a current affairs programme.

Now, I'm coming up with a solution for SABC, am lobbying for Masechaba Moshoeshoe to take over the reigns from Xolani Gwala.

I like Masechaba's strong personality, she has presence and she draws your attention (okay she can be loud) but nonethless she can really take on those politicians and big-wigs.

Youre right about Masechaba she'll be perfect for asikhulume eish acting on scandal almost ruined her carreer the charecter she plays is pathetic and boring ,what was the name of that talk show she presented ? i never missed it espc during the days of Heart lines she and Aaron gave it sum va va voom unlike the programme in question it lacks just that

Masechaba would be a capable replacement, but having said that uXolani ubenswsempu, he really had a way of going to the core of the matter and everytime politicians would play on words and avoiding to answer questions he had a technique of nailing them and pushing them in2 a corner that forces an answer out of their diplomatic selves!!!!

Hell No. Please not a repeat of the mess she did with the Big Question on sabc2. She tried to do a Debra Patta but failed miserably. The last straw was when they brought in a bunch of model c school kids to discuss the maternity leave thing for scholars and it was a disaster. She cannot remain partial and she loses control of the debate and her questions leave much to be desired.

Leave Xolani Gwala to present Asikhulume please.

Okay dankie mense, i know her now. I don't think she's presenter material. I think she's best suited at acting someone else and not being herself. I like her on scandal, she always has that paranoid element about her in her characters, so no presenting for her please.

@ Username hai, nami angiboni. Xolani has left some big shoes to be filled.m u Masechaba didn't do it 4 me either not o. take 8, not on heartlines sahe even failed at Motswako so i dnt know.

eish SABC has lost lots of good presenters....now we don't have many options to choose from

again I remember when Xolani started Asikhulume he did not have many fans but grew in it, became better and better, SABC saw potential in him....bam gaya i chance

I think Mesechaba can be polished too where there is a need but she has guts needed and she can learn...

That new gal is Asanda Magaqa she from PE Eastern Cape she use to present the current affairs show in Umhlobo Wenene FM & I think she's not ready yet to do a show like Asikhulume Masechaba will be perfect................

I think our own Brown Shuga would be perfect for the show, her straight forwardness and ability to ask questions that know one dares 2 ask is what we need 4 dat show.uAsanda magaqa, no offence mkhaya but eish sani, hadi mpintshi u still have a lot to learn.

@nonny, she can learn kaloku, one is never to old to learn, besides, she will add her humour-ish attitude to politics, which is what SA desperately needs at teh moment, we neednt take politics seriously, otherwise we'll run out of electricity trying 2 figure out who is crossing the floor and who's not.

I have n't watched Asikhulume lately hence I can't comment ngo Asanda.......please give me a clue..how is she presenting? is she able to guide and lead the debates in a constructive manner? When u're on air and on screen,I guess it's not the same

You're right Xolani was good and I guess it's hard to replace him,I remember when he was on leave the other time and Vuyani Green replaced him temporarily...it was a disaster.

Well Masechaba,she's good on reviewing books/novels on Kaya FM,not sure on current affairs for SABC1

I also haven't watched Aikhulume recently, so u Asanda andimazi i-style sakhe. I last watched ngala mbhanxo ka Vuyani Green.

As for u Masechaba cha, the polishing should have produced results before the big question came to an end. Let's get somebody else tu!!!

Give this Asanda person a chance coz really noXolani when he got there he wasnt as polished as he was by the time he left,
As for Maschaba, I like her and all bt as for recycling the same faces over and over and over again, I'm not sure. As it is she is on Scandal and Kaya fm so let the others showing potential to grow and showcase what they have...
BS - No comments - I like Bs and all but I think umtu must just stick to what they're interested in, the next thing we'll be getting ooSbu and Lupi debating on issues eziserious like powercuts and political issues, and it just dont gel - baright baphelele phaa ezipartini bona

BK - abt DJ Sbu, that is not sad news, it's actually the best news I've heard all morning. Come to think of it, Sbu is struggling BIG TIME with Ukhozi FM, at Y FM he can talk English and be understood by listeners well, than Ukhozai FM, coz oKhozini people have sent numerous complaints that when he speaks isiZulu it doesn't make for good listening and the poor magogo's oNkandla can't understand a thing coz phela uSbu sometimes sounds like he is twanging isiZulu when he talks. But ke I am sure uKhozi acknowledges the youth that he drew in when he joined uKhozi FM breakfast's team, but ke it was a wrong move from the word go!!!!!

I don't watch Asikhulume but I think Asanda should be given a chance and she will come out right. She was good the time ebeku Mhlobo Wenene and she won some Vodacom Award for Journalist of the year.

Masechaba is great but i do not think they will hire her, the show is in Isizulu and she is sotho. Plus, she is with Kaya FM and E-tv - conflict of intrest..I do love her though....
