In the South African music and entertainment industry
of South Africa , a lot is happening and a lot has happened and we need to talk about it! We have to!
Well, well, I have been reading the blogs and not even one has said anything surrounding the muvhango saga, I don't know if you are saying nothing because you don't care or because you r scared of Duma ka Ndhlovu!
I know most of you have read the Sunday papers but its no harm discussing what is happening, especially since it’s about our beloved celebrities.
Pay dispute rocks Muvhango!
This is not the first time I am hearing about Muvhango actors not being paid their salaries. It is very selfish of the people responsible not to pay them, these people have families to feed and they have made plans and incurred liabilities for the month with the knowledge that they will pay them when they get their salaries.
Imagine if someone borrowed money “kwameza” (from the neighbour) and umeza wants her money and does not want to hear any stories, because she has problems of her own! It’s a real bummer neh! Whoever the “viper” is responsible for this fiasco, he must stop it now.
Rumours about canning the show are doing rounds, I also heard that they are the least paid actors on the SA telly. Can’t they get help from COSATU??
Some quotes:
(I could not get a better picture, her pictures are scarce, they must be very expensive)
Lebo “Elle” Tisane, who plays Lebo said:
“I don’t think people will turn up for work under these circumstances.” “If anyone said everything was OK he or she would be lying. I am in a very tough situation. ”
Florence Masebe (above, for those who don't know her) said:
“They tell us to talk to the production house,” “The production house points a finger at the SABC. This whole thing is confusing to us.”

Well to all those who were bitching about Kuli Roberts being too old to
represent RGB; it seems like Kuli unlike other celebrities has ears, she has responded, if this response does not silence you,
i suggest you build a bridge and get over it fast! or have you tongue cut!
Here is her response, (i can't decide on the colour of the font for her response, i hope red will do justice, since red represents anger...no its blood, mxmmmm never mind! )
Will you people ever be happy?
Then on the other side of the coin you have people complaining that “Yhu, uKuli Roberts is too old to be presenting The Real Goboza”.
It seems they’d rather have it presented by a schoolkid who is wet behind the ears.
I’ve decided that I will never make anyone happy because it’s impossible and I am not going to entertain the age issue as, yes, I am 35 and proud of it.
But if you want me to look like a school gal and have you spank me I can do that too.
So tell it to someone who cares, ‘cos I am versatile, darling.
Look at her picture, she is so happy, like she asked " Will you people ever be happy"!
I almost forgot that I titled this blog music and TV, mmmhhmm what am I gonna talk about in the music biz? mmmhhhmmm Ribz, no Khanyi Mbau....Yes I know I know I know I know we've been writing about her a lot but this time it is different because she is getting positive publicity! Yes POSITIVE PUBLICITY!
When she came in the music industry, she had already been pigeonholed as "lamntwana uphaphayo" and people saw her as a nuisance
(i hope the spelling is correct) .
People decided she is a pathetic singer and that they are not gonna listen to her music. Well I decided that I am not gonna be like the rest of the other people, I decided that I am gonna give Khanyi a chance (this was after I heard her song "I miss you", which of course I think its nice). Well on saturday, off I went to musica, grabbed her CD and read the title of the songs at the back, I saw songs like
Dunusa, Igwinya, La weyi and I could not continue. I literally Rolled On The Floor Laughing My Arse Off until I was chased out of the store and told to come back when I have learnt to control my emotions! Frankly I did not listen to the songs, i just found the titles very hilarious! So I will go to another store and try to listen to them and make up my mind without considering all the negative publicity she has received!
Here is the front of the CD cover, is it what you would expect from a self-acclaimed diva, Paris Hilton and queen of bling!
Yho I finally mastered putting pictures in an article, well enjoy guys!
Before I dot all the i's and cross all the t's, here is some backpage gossip:
Sliq Angel beat-up his girlfriend who is cohabiting with him because she was dropped off home by a man, oh shame be strong ntombazana, like yo mother said, kuyanyamezelwa, stick by your man even if he craps on your face!
Bubbly Fikile Mbalula has been kidnapped and circumcised against his will because he knew too much. This was a way of silencing him, I hope I will not be killed for FM for writing this, you know some people can kill for someone else!
Have u seen the Zuma rapes justice Zapiro?
Is it degrading to women? My opinion is that it is not, but I am not a woman...Some guy from ANC said it was!
