Sad news for Blaze fans ... as you may or may not know last week

Blaze Blasbalg was
rushed to hospital for emergency treatment after suddenly getting sick.
He was admitted, treated and couldn't prepare for and dance the performance show on Saturday night - his partner Marise Dusheiko danced with choreographer's assistant Morena Nyaka instead.
The idea was that if Blaze was better enough to dance in the Results Show (which gets filmed after voting closes on Saturday) he'd go straight into the Bottom 3 to dance for his life.
The latest update is that he wasn't able to do this and he's been cut from the competition.
He was dismissed from hospital last week after being diagnosed with Gastritis and had to be re-admitted again at the end of the week so he's had to fight for his life instead of being able to dance for it.
“It’s a really unfortunate situation,” says Executive Producer Duncan Irvine.” But the rules are quite clear and despite him being one of the favourites we had no choice but to eliminate him."
With Blaze out of the running the competition's one guy down which means that only a girl will be eliminated in Tuesday night's Results Show. (SABC1 at 19h00)
