! The answer to
Who's That? While I was perving at
Cosmo's Sexiest Men there was all sorts of filming going on and I discovered that e.tv's launching a new show in April called The Style Report.
It's hosted by Lindiwe Suttle, it's a sister show to The Showbiz Report and it covers various aspects of style including fashion, art, decor and so on. Apparently Lindiwe and Nikki Greenwall have been in touch for a while and decided to launch it.
Of course I was tickled that Lindiwe's Felicia Mabusa Suttle's daughter and asked her about both what's it like, as well as the show:
Tashi: How did it happen that you and Nikki hooked up?
Lindiwe: We've known each other for a long time and she knows that I do a show in the States as well. It's for the Africa Channel and airs in the US, the UK and the Caribbean - the channel's aim is to change perceptions about Africa and my show in particular covers style - I used to be a fashion stylist.
Tashi: What's it like being Felicia's daughter?
Lindiwe: It's very big shoes to fill - especially now that I've moved into TV, there's a lot of pressure obviously but I always have my mom there to give me advice, which is always lovely - and it's a bit nervewracking having her watch me, thinking "Does she hate it? Does she love it?" but it's great having her there to give me constructive criticism.
Tashi: Do you find people define you through her?
Lindiwe: Yeah definitely - you either get a good or a bad response. I try to just say my name and hope no-one says anything because I'm trying to make my own name, you don't want to live through somebody, even though it's nice sometimes but yeah *laughs*
Tashi: She's so controversial, you either love her or loate her - what's that like for you?
Lindiwe: For me I know the change my mom's made in the country, the changes she's tried to bring to get black and white South Africans talking and communicating - she came back and pretty much left her family for a country that she loved so for me she's my hero, my shero.

Will keep you styled on the show's premiere date.
