Television does not inspire us to Love as much as we would like, but there are few couples on the small screen that we find rather romantic and see as the picture of everlasting love. Some are just lessons in do’s and don’t of love.
Cardies and Hallmark including flower shops, hotels and restaurants around the world are making a fortune for obvious reasons. Babysitters are also seeing an increase in bookings this time of year. With this day falling on Saturday…you can only imagine the amount of sex people will be having despite the credit crunch. I hope that ladies you will get some well deserved satisfaction from your man this weekend.
TV love stories tend to have a greater effect on viewers, even thou we may shrug it off. We often have those moments when we question if we are truly in love? Have found the right love? Will ever love? Can survive the pain of love? or simply….What is love?
Karabo Moroka – GenerationsThey need to help this women find a man and a stable relationship that will last more than six months. She has been through so many guys and each one comes with more problems. So many females look up to Karabo, the least you could do is give her a stable love story! The thing with Paul is frustrating, just sort it out already. At least she is better off than the mega dry spell Queen is on!
Vaughn and Sydney - AliasThey are an interesting couple and I think they should be together for years and have lots of kids to spy on the whole world.
Kevin and Scotty - Brothers & SistersAs awkward as their relationship can be at times, courtesy of Kevin, I think they make a pretty decent couple.
Dexter and Rita - DexterI guess we have to find love or should I say love finds us. But dating a series killer who is in love with you? I don’t know! Pretty creepy....I guess we do end up doing stupid things because of love.
Niles and Daphne - Frasier It was the most awkward of relationships, but when they got together 7years later, I was moved.....gone are the good sitcom days! Where is the love?
Chandler and Monica - Friends I never thought these two were the ideal couple. But thanks to the power of TV persuasion.....I finally liked them as the crazy couple they become. The part about them not being able to have their own children was very touching and earned them some brownie points.
Ross and Rachel - FriendsI think towards the end of the show they become the perfect couple.
Marshall and Lily - How I Met Your MotherOh man...I love these two. They give hopeless romantics a reason to live. As LAME as they are, everyone wishes they could find someone they could be that stupid with and still find a way to enjoy your sex life without going crazy.
Steve and LenI wonder what would've happened if Len and Steve become an item? It is obvious that their storyline indicated heart felt feelings of love and they drove each other mad. We know they loved each other but not enough for them to be together. When Steve got married, I thought Len was going to scream "Objection" but….it never happened. Maybe for the best! Len find a normal girl this time and settle down.
Ned the Pie-Maker and the girl he calls Chuck - Pushing DaisiesThe fact that they can never touch, because if they did she would die, what with his unique situation and all. I found it to be frustrating and romantic. The chemistry between the actors was amazing.
Steve and Miranda - Sex and the CityWho could forget these two and what a couple they made! I thought they were going to get divorced a hundred times over. They were normal thou, with a pinch of exhaustion. It started with a one-night-stand...
Brain and Justin - QAFAt the end Brian had to let Justin go and it seemed painful, but he had already resigned himself to an "ever-after" life with his Justin. Agreeing to marry and buying that amazing mansion…..but they decided it was not their thing. They made an interesting couple and a very alternative one.
Rex and Mimi - Days of Our LivesI thought these two were just adorable until Mimi decided to have an abortion. Rex loved Mimi and their relationship was a wild version of Shawn and Belle
Bo Brady and Hope - Days of Our LivesAt first they had an amazing love story with that whole fancy face thing but of late they are an unbelievable bore! Bo, arguably the show's primary male hero, began his tenure as the stereotypical "bad boy with a heart of gold" and grew to become a brave and noble police detective, romantic and loving husband and doting father of four.
Stephanie Douglas Forrester & Eric Forrester – The Bold and The Beautiful They have been through three divorces and has split many more times over the years, but always seem to come back together. Stephanie commitment to their union is interesting to say the least.
I am sure you have an interesting TV couple you really like or possibly the one that inspired you romantically to either find love or appreciate the love you had or have.
If you don’t…that's fine! If you do, share.
I would like to know more about who they are and from which show.
And....
