On Sunday night (1 March) the Top 12 Idols finalists will perform in their second live studio show - the final one before the Spectacular's start next week.
Last week, the Idols judges emphasized how important song choice is at this stage of the competition and a number of contestants were subsequently criticized for their poor decisions.
Here's what they've decided on this week:
Cameron: “Goodbye Philadelphia” by Peter Cincotti
Daniel: “Feel” by Robbie Williams
Graeme: “Stop and Stare” by One Republic
Jason: “When a Man Loves a Woman” by Michael Bolton (originally performed by Percy Sledge)
Lendel: “Over You” by Daughtry
Lize: “Relax, Take it Easy” by Mika
Matthew: “A Foggy Day (in London Town)” by Michael Buble (originally performed by Fred Astaire)
Ntespha: “If I Were a Boy” by Beyonce
Pixie: “Black and Gold” by Sam Sparro
Sasha Lee: “Bring me to Life” by Evanescence
Suzzi: “I Try” by Macy Gray
Thembi: “Immortality” by Celine Dion
Idols5 is on M-Net on Sundays at 17h30 and Mondays at 19h00.
It's also broadcast on Easyview and the Magic World channel on DStv Compact. After each show the performances are available for subscribers and non-subscribers online on M-Net's
Idols website.
