Best B-day gift ever!

Okay… lollipop’s blog ‘stuck between a rock and hard place’ inspired me. Came just at the right time. All the white boys talk. See last month I got a facebook friend request from my ex’s dad. It took a whole week to accept him….so many questions popped in my head, then followed the little’s sis’s b-day party invitation. Hehehe clearly the makgoa’s are missing me. It is close to 9 months since their son’s traitorous drama that led to our break up. Daddy was very apologetic, told ex he’ll regret it someday.
Anyways lollipop gave me the boost I needed to get all dressed up last night & hit affluent side of fence for a 23rd birthday dinner party. (Blacks stay there 2)
The first hour felt like hell, hated every minute of it, small talk with his friends & extended family felt so fake, my ex with his gelled dark hair & pink striped shirt looked divine. Till…I spotted a blond girl with strawberry curly hair or she spotted me. We just clicked. I love curls. My fake hair must be curly at all time. Only to find out an hour or so later that blondie is my ex’s current. And she knew about me….bloody hell…
At that point I just wanted to be out of there...just before I could duck all went quite for speeches. My ex’s was first, short but still funny & charming. Then… the point of this blog… The Makgoa’s made an announcement: they adopted a flamingo at Joburg Zoo for their daughter as a gift.

Yes, bloggers a great idea for all you mummies out there. Adopt an animal for R500 for a year. Any animal in the Zoo except Lions apparently they all sponsored by Anglo Gold. Chimp, Zebra, tiger, you name it. Imagine taking your kid to the zoo to see his/her adopted pet. The entitlement!

The cons- You can’t take the animal home, no physical contact when visiting but you get an animal friend certificate, your name on the adoption board at zoo, and zoo entrance vouchers of course. Plus you’re doing your bit for biodiversity.

I was just vowed. What a cool birthday gift! Great fund raising initiative Joburg Zoo! Whoever’s original concept it is…big up!

Your idea was cool but the story line made us think that there is more to come than a penguin......................

Anyways, Ive never recieved a birthday present and I have stopped giving people presents on their birthdays except my son.

The best present I recieved was for my first year anniversary and it was a HUGE album of our wedding day. We had the pictures but did not have the time to put them together. That album probably cost my hubby a good 7 to ten grand. So you can imagine how special the album.

The Makgoa’s made an announcement: they adopted a flamingo at Joburg Zoo for their daughter as a gift - lol, this was the funniest part, yah ne makgoa, very interesting gift, ,mina i would not have been impressed kodwa ke, different strokes for different folks. Mara Ms Dee, i was waiting for the drama phela. Wena ex and current ms curls........

When we broke up Daddy & Mummy were so heartbroken shame…I think they enjoyed bragging to their friends’’ oh we raised our kids so well, we don’t tolerate racism at all in our family, our son is even dating a black girl, she’s so gorgeous’’

How we broke up

I had just started a new job. I lied to my boss and my mom…followed him and his family out the country where they were on holiday. Imagine if the plane crashed! That’s how crazy I was bout him. Every night we had braais & chatted around the fire. South Africans… don’t matter where we are some things are just US. This one night he was playing around with his 4yr old niece when he utter these words I’ll never forget.

I'm so over him...
He cheated on me wit a white girl nogal. The Father just likes me shame, but so does the whole family, clearly not the cousin n her hubby...how can they let him bring another girl to their house!
and no pooky it doesnt end with a kiss I cant even talk to uHarrold without getting into a pointless argument.

Blondi tricked me -actually last night i was convinced all those whities at the party were dysfunctional. we danced & sang out loud- mr jones& I... like good friends.

@Cleve..cheetahs are so common though...everytime i switch to etv i see a cheetah promo...

GML I was so furious…the cousin tried playing it easy…She followed me to the loo where I went to drop a tear or 2… She claimed they acted as mere friends nothing suspicious. I then went straight to our room…where he followed me n tried reverse psychology of how he had to take a friend since I couldn’t make it. And how he would never cheat blah blah…but I could tell he was lying….
The following day I asked to be taken to the airport. They all didn’t know what to say or do, 1st time seeing me angry they just knew never mind cheerful Dee. He betrayed me.
He spoils men..why should we tolerate it when they cheat! Soka man..
