Daytime television fans would have realized that Shawn-Douglas Brady on Days of our Lives has transformed into what can only be observed and described as a HOT VERSION. Yes, ladies, you have yet another reason to watch Days, with the addition of Brandon Beemer as your new addiction.
Shawn.D has been portrayed by actors Collin O'Donnell and Scott Groff as a young child, most notably by Jason Cook. Cook’s departure from Days saw the introduction of Beemer playing the new Shawn.
The boy looks hot and very sexy, which I guess it’s a great thing for daytime television. Cook has been a part of Days for a very long time, even after the loveable Belle left. It was clear he was NOT adjusting to the new “Evil-looking” Belle.
PS: Days Casting Director, wrong move on the new Belle. Moving on….Brandon Beemer took on the role after Jason Cook’s contract expired, which he did not renew. Beemer was recast as Shawn and debuted in the role September 28, 2006.
(Lets mourn a little bit how far back South Africa is when it comes to episodes of this show…….. Amen!) It sucks, hey!
Jason, the old Shawn, can be seen now on General Hospital as new character Matt Hunter.
In real life, Beemer is currently in a relationship with his former Days co-star Nadia Bjorlin. Nadia used to play the part of Chloe Lane, who was in a passionate relationship with Philip Kiriakis.
Days fans, before you decide to get comfortable with the new eye candy. We have bad and good news.
The BAD: Please be advised that it will be short a lived experience since the hunk is moving on to another soap.
The GOOD
(We think): Beemer has moved to The Bold and Beautiful, possibly making Bold fans very happy.
(We ask for another short prayer but you get the idea....lol). Brandon can now be seen on The Bold and the Beautiful as Otis Marrone.
He was also on Days of our Lives (2006-2008) as Shawn-Douglas Brady; CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2003) as Ross Jenson; Undressed (2001) as Lucas and General Hospital as Seth. I think I can understand why they call him a soap opera actor.
