Where is the love for pete's sake?

The Past

I wake up everyday and do my own thing, I sometimes go to the shops, I might even choose to spoil myself with a movie or go to a restaurant for a fancy meal. Every day I come across hundreds of unfamiliar faces, strangers that are just going through the day like me. These strangers live free from thoughts of me as I live free from thoughts of them, but then on a special day I met an unfamiliar face that I felt drawn to. I said hello, we spoke, connected and decided to meet on a regular basis. Amongst a hundred unfamiliar faces her face seemed different, but the truth is she was not different from those other faces, if she is different then so are they. She stood out, without causing a scene or doing anything more extraordinary than the rest of them, she was just going through the day like all of us, but yet I saw her highlighted and apart from the conformity that made the others unnoticeable. She caught my eye as they say. She wasn't the most beautiful or the sexiest person in the crowd. There was something beyond her looks that pulled me towards her, you can say it was instinctive. Why does it happen this way? What makes us choose that one stranger who we know nothing about? What pulls you towards that person who is so well blended with the rest of us?

The Present

In this day and age people lack that innocence of natural attraction, they look seriously through the unfamiliar faces in the crowd for the most decorated face. I wish to inspire and motivate those feelings of natural attraction I speak of through this article, take your time to do some soul searching and find those natural feelings that were embedded within you from birth. I’m worried that those days of true love are fading away. Very soon we’ll need a reference-book just to remember how love used to feel. If there will be need for a reference-book then I wish to be the author. I believe in true love… we all do… we’re just surrounded by so many materialistic things that are competing with that true love and are triumphing. When last did you look at someone with love and not because they bought you a diamond ring or gave you multiple orgasms? When last did you feel real love? I’m so envious of my childhood-age, it’s gone and past, but I envy those times because then, men and women fell inlove, they felt the pleasures that come with love, I miss seeing that shy smile that men or women used to get when they were inlove, that glow people would get from love alone. Those were beautiful times, when lying was so difficult and guilt was like a pain in the heart, when relationships were pure and simple.

The future

Some of us are married, some are getting married, some are divorced and waiting for mr-right or ms-right. Don’t you want to base your relationship on love so that when all your materials are stripped away, you still have each other to hold on to and love to keep your relationship alive? Don’t you deserve a man or woman who will love you regardless of your flaws, strengths and weaknesses? Look to the future with love in your hearts and your world will spin in the right direction… because love makes the world go round…

Wel Droozi u ask "Where is the love" ,well i believe love is in us all, its the greatest power each of us posesses, its a shame that some of us choose and allow greed, lust ,selfishness and hatred to supress it all

thats true But my problem is if LOVE MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND(100%) WHAT about money,

i dont think anybody should depend to anyone to be happy or loved.love is something that you feel.it grows....if you want ..you can stop it.

About money who want poverty?in my opinion ppl must work hard love will come later, aslong you have money anything is possible esp to find true love.

in reality Money makes the world go round,Guys do you  think as human you will stay with someone who will  make sure you sleep under the tree while hurricane whip your ass,and we must say is love?

responsible + hardwork make money,

i want someone who can shield me,for me to have good day is all about money,i dont eat love,i want food, love will come later.

im sorry my bro, those years was love to have experience, now in reality we need money to have anything, where are we going to stay without money?

is not  we are after money,im after how hard you work, how thick is you backbone?if someone has money he/she  push you to be  more responsible.

i dont want more problems on top of problematic world,i want confidence

Yoh...what a beautifull piece...will focus tomorrow...but that you wrote it gives me so much hope about our world.
Its good to know that the desire for these core things that the world is trivialising this days is still there in people. sometimes in our world, when you think like that, or desire such you will be told you are being unrealistic.
Yet its this ideals which are anchoring whatever little good still exists in our lives...
......im quite emotional now....k..lemme sleep.

Thanx guys...

in reality Money makes the world go round,Guys do you think as human you will stay with someone who will make sure you sleep under the tree while hurricane whip your ass,and we must say is love?

Mathatha I can respect your opinion and I understand where ur coming from, but it has been proven over and over again that families based on the foundation of money cant stand the test of time, I for one know alot of stories of people who founded their relationships on  money, and the disastrous ending of these relationships are very painful. At the end of the day, the money, the power and all things materialistic work at a lifestyle level and never beyond that, u cannot encompass materials into your human nature and into your spirituality or your true self... the things that were there before the money before the camourflage (which is what all materials are) those things that belonged to you ever since, those are the important things and those are the things that will always be there regardless of your bank balance. Now love has been there with you from the begining dont you want something reliable and "water resistant" to hold your life together? do you truly want to base the core of your life on money? cause family is the core

mathata
20 Aug 2009 03:48

respest, compromise, hardwork are core of the family period!nature will take place by spreading love.

everything must based on love.is what im trying to say.

somewhere on bible(good ppl someone can help)they say if your left hand fall down take off the other one.....so as Human how many ppl will be handless if we were doing so?

some of the things are good to our ears n they build ppl.but in reality iS JUST A FANTASY.

the bible says dont kill, are you going to be afraid to kill pest in your bed bcs bible says dont  to kill?

what im trying to  say how many ppl follow ten  commandments?

We are lost, but life is life,we can cut d air with the knife.....but what is working at this moment?

why they  named powder blue.. powder blue?do we see powder aroud blue?

ppl invent things to make us motivated.
,
is true but does it work to Human?ppl will say Sex is good, isit good? or you will hear ppl scream like they are killing each other?is F** painful

ther is reality  n fantasy in this planet.

i want love more than Money in my life,But in reality is like  looking for chinese resturant in  a desert

What makes us choose that one stranger who we know nothing about? What pulls you towards that person who is so well blended with the rest of us?
It is called chemistry. If you have done chemistry at school you will understand why.

In this day and age people lack that innocence of natural attraction, they look seriously through the unfamiliar faces in the crowd for the most decorated face.
Is called physical attraction.

I believe in true love…
If there is such a thing and I doubt there is, remember is called severe mental disorder and you should seek medical advice before it affects your health.

Some of us are married, some are getting married, some are divorced and waiting for mr-right or ms-right. Don’t you want to base your relationship on love so that when all your materials are stripped away, you still have each other to hold on to and love to keep your relationship alive?
If you find yourself in this situation or you are about to get yourself in this situation, it is no longer love but a contract. That is the fastest way of transferring your money electronically and it is called marriage.

Great Article Droozic

The world and the circumstances around the world, around our communities, around our families and around relationship we have seen and have been into have cause people either to withhold love or to give love.

Most people now reserve to love the next person freely with the fear of being let-down, disappointend, betrayed or even killed. Our world is currently ruled by the love of money, people do very weird and unrealistic thing so they can have a positive bank balance, but when all is done, do they find peace NO, do they feel loved NO, that's why you'll find a very rich, classy person who lives a porsh life commiting suicide, if you try to find the reason behind, you'll realised that in the midst of all the millions surrounding them, they felt alone and couldnt take it anymore and their millions are still in the bank, those millions fail to love them.

And you ask yourself, when you visit poor families where no one in thehousehold work, you find those people happy, you ask yourself what makes them happy in those kind of situation, the reason is LOVE, love conqures all, as much as they dont have all thefansy stuff but they have the greatest thing ever which is LOVE, they share their sufferings. everything is done in the name of love, that's why they dont have to watch their backs everytime when someone need to meet their nextdoor man or woman.

Money cannot buy you everything but it sure wil make your life easier and better Love is what you make it to be and no one should never try to define it cause its what it is at that time with that person

Love is different and people experience it differently. I for one am very in love. I cannot see my life without my hubby. He makes it worth living. I'm iot dependent on him financially but I'm am dependent on him as my support system my shoulder when I need one and just an ear when I want to vent. He makes me want to be more and be better than what I am.

Money is a bonus because what is important is that you eat and you're happy

For me love did not exist in the olden days. Women were desperate to be taken care of financiallly that they stayed with husbands who abused, cheated on them and so forth. Now we have a choice as women. I believe love is more visable now than it was back then.

BA.....so true what u are saying. The world, society etc has redefined nd reduced the core values of life into trivial things tht dont matter, and they exalt shallow things. A house tht is not built on the rock is built in vain....in the event of torrents and staff.
I guess the onus is on those who care to still hold on to this core ideals.....and i am happy there are such people and families even though they are not celebrated. its 4 them tht is why the world is still standing.
I guess wha saddens me about this houses tht are buld on sand is the legacy they leave behind. If only they dont make children so they dont leave a trail of empty broken kids..........the implications of which are too sad and many to mention.

love is a beatifull thing and yes money makes the world go round, we dont leave on love only we also need money to survive, but the question is what if the person you loved because of money becames bankrupd or dissable are you going to divorce him/her.

i do believe in love and i once gave up on love through the bad experience i had under the name of Love,

but too much money also breakup relationships and marriages and there is nothing called enough money, so please dont try and complicate yourselves with these issues, whats important is that you be happy with who ever you are with regardless of the status.

nice article, wish i can contribute more ,

great article indeed Droozic....... i agree with u BA, yazi when i was growing up i had every material thing that i wanted, i use to go do my hair at this girl's place they lived in a shack, all 6 of them, mom dad and the kids. but the love they had amongst each was so amazing that i wouldn't want to go back home (a ten roomed house) and i told myself that you know what if i have a family one day i wanted the very same warmth and love that i saw from that family.

Mathatha I totally agree alot of things are fantasies, but aren't we as humans creators and wouldn't you say that fantasy is inspiration and motivation for our creative nature? without fantasy we wouldn't be able to fly or walk on the moon, the truth is that everything we as humans can create has to start at a fantastic level without fantasies we are but dull beings. besides love is just a word the important thing is what love means to you and how you feel when you're inlove

Realist I am well aware of lables such as chemistry, physical attraction etc etc... Those words as you mentioned them are just words and lables they have no meaning, their only relevance works at an recognition and familiarity level. The important things is what they stand for, their meaning so to speak and thats why I decided to put eleborations and definitions instead of the lables you mentioned. You fail to understand that you as a human are entitled to boundless emotions and feelings, and its those feelings I speak off, those natural feelings that are embeded within us all. if feelings such as love are less important than money why weren't we born with money bills clutched in our hands? dont confuse a lable with a meaning (a lable merely represents a meaning) words such as love represent feelings of natural attraction and fondness thats all...

If there is such a thing and I doubt there is, remember is called severe mental disorder and you should seek medical advice before it affects your health.

I dont understand where this reccomendation/advice comes from, but Im afraid whoever your psyche-advisor is was a bit off, lets live the dissing for primary school

If you find yourself in this situation or you are about to get yourself in this situation, it is no longer love but a contract. That is the fastest way of transferring your money electronically and it is called marriage.

you're totally entitled to your own opinion, I hope this mindset works for your marriage
