A heads-up to fans of
True Blood and
Weeds - both programmes are moving to new timeslots on M-Net, with immediate effect.
This won't affect True Blood viewers as much, because the second season hasn't actually started yet. But in case you did your research and jotted down 27 October at 21h30 as the start time, you need to change it.
True Blood 2 now premieres on Tuesday 27 October at 22h00 - half an hour later. The date is the same, but the time is different. The TVSA Show Page (see link above) has been updated to reflect the correct start time.
Weeds 5 is changing its current timeslot on Tuesdays at 22h30 to Tuesdays at 21h30 - an hour earlier. The change will come into effect for the 11th episode, which airs on 27 October.
No reason was offered by M-Net for the time changes, but we suspect it's to accommodate
the premiere of Hung on 17 November, which will replace Weeds at 21h30 (22h30 was too late a timeslot for Hung, despite its provocative title).
Take note of the time changes - you don't want to miss the last three episodes of Weeds and to miss the season premiere of True Blood 2 would represent the stupidest thing any human could do, ever.
Vampires, dog. Why would you want to miss that?
