Every year the world rallies around women in the month of August to honour their efforts and dedication to their communities at large. The Shoprite Checkers Woman of the Year Awards also take place at this time annually.
They went on a break last year, returned this year and were broadcast on M-Net last week Monday (9 August).
Tonight Penny chats to the winner of the Youth Movers category: Khanyisile Motsa, who has made many sacrfifices to help the plight of children living on the streets.
Also, the first black woman Chartered Accountant in South Africa, Nonkululeko Gobodo chats about the demands of the man’s world we live in and casts away any doubt that women can have it all too.
