Muvhango drama

Hehehehe… so Muvhango decided to show more than just Rapulana’s hand yesterday. May I please just be excused for a few days nje coz I will basically be going on about this storyline until Raps gets his CEO kissing scene.

The scenes last night were much like what we saw in Generations – plus it looked like he was wearing the same jacket.

Anyway, Pheko is not much like Tau. He is calmer, more relaxed, and things happen to him, not like Tau, who sorta makes things happen.

For example, Tau walks into Tsalanang and announces.. whooo, Im here. Pheko on the other hand preferres to be found sitting in Dikathole and he gets the abo “oh.. you’re back?”…

So, I did it the old school way of photographing the television screen.

muv13

Here everybody is happy to see him except for Ranthumeng, of course.

muv2

Im telling you, this Ranthumeng guy is not doing much acting now. He is playing himself - the attitude just flows - Arrogance cleanly displayed. I have to say Im happy Pheko o mo ja direthe. I mean, Paul Mashaba wasnt like this mos, when Tau showed up. I know he had kind of moved on, but nooh... Ranthumeng needs to relax.

muv14

                                                     Chill pill

muv6

Then we replayed the Generations scenes

muv4

                                                   Yha..

And the goddess herself walked in. You can see she's shaken - but I guess yena they didnt write her those crazy.. "Kemmone, wa tshela" scenes tsa Karabo. She's much calmer. Like a woman already thinking up a strategy (to flee from the altar. hihihi)

muv8

A moment of confrontation with Destiny

muv12

So here Pheko is a happy chap. One step closer to that kiss with the CEO.

rapmuv2

The dilemma that our CEO will find herself in just sort of made me think about the things us women we make ourselves go through. I mean, they always say men think with their dicks - Im not sure what women use to make decisions sometimes when the brains take leave.

Look at this, as much as Ranthumeng is an arrogant bastard and deserves to be left at the altar, it would really be sad if Thandaza would end up manless after going after Pheko. You see, ladies like making their plans based on some love lost somewhere. I think if I remember correctly, Pheko asked Thandaza to move to Lesotho with him and she couldnt, thats how they broke up. Then along came Rathumeng - he is lovely yes, and he seems set to make a family and a home with her. But she doesnt love him as much as she did Pheko.

I dont even think if it had been Pheko she's getting married to, she would've thought of all that prenuptial nonsense that Ranthumeng has been confronted with.

Ranthu is second best, that's it, and most ladies, yes, do settle for second best - Sometimes coz the people that we fall in love with end up being free spirits like Pheko Mokoena. Then we meet the solid Ranthumeng and poor guy has to ever be made to meet the standard of the lovely Pheko.

My word in all this is, ladies, if you cant have him, no matter how much over the heels you are with his lips, his hands, his voice or whatever conviction you have that he is your soulmate, sometimes it is wise to use your head.

Ranthumeng is the reality. Pheko is the "could've been great". Ranthumeng comes with guarantees. Pheko might be here today and gone tomorrow. Thandaza is old enough, she's got a child to think about and she is principled and needs a family. What she needs to do now is called Focus!

But, nooh...she's gon let her heart run with Pheko. I just truly hope that she will not leave Ranthumeng and chase after something thats not certain. That's all im saying.

Oh.. no.. I just ranted off.

I have to say Im happy Pheko o mo ja direthe. I mean, Paul Mashaba wasnt like this mos, when Tau showed up. I know he had kind of moved on, but nooh... Pheko should just leave Thandaza alone, he had his time and he spoiled it, let Thandanza be happy for once, i has been long, let there be a stable couple on the scene, we are tired of hicups, and also teach meme a lession, everytime she gets her way, change the scenario for us to enjoy more.

I've enjoyed reading your rant carino

ladies, if you cant have him, no matter how much over the heels you are with his lips, his hands, his voice or whatever conviction you have that he is your soulmate, sometimes it is wise to use your head.  Thanks for the words of wisdom.. So very true

I'm not sure what women use to make decisions sometimes when the brains take leave.

Women use their heart, and find themselves saying. I felt it was the right thing at the time. Hence we are called emotional beings

and also teach meme a lession, everytime she gets her way, change the scenario for us to enjoy more...i agree with you gcb. This soapy writters seem to have a formula that says..the villain must always have the last laugh. Even though they know it would make viewers happy if the good guys won. I think they enjoy torturing viewers which makes them evil!!!**...i honestly cant watch soapies where villains clearly always win. example...mujango, rythm city (love some storylines tho'), days of our lives. I know its a different strokes thing, but the villains thing in soapies gets to me...glad i get to vent it out today...*exhales*

Thank you ladies.

So true about the villains thing. Scandal is the only place where I think they got it a bit right. Daniel is bad, yes... but he also gets to be portrayed as a human being.

@GA... I got to see your One Day Leader yesterday, hey... and oh, what a breath of fresh air.. It's such a great show. And even more they have Vusi Thembekwayo as one of the judges - I totally respect the guy - I wanted to include him in my list yesterday, but yena i have a different kind of lahv for him.

You just reminded me to google him (Vusi Thembekwayo) carino, i had never heard of him till the show...What a sharp guy!!. They generally have a sharp panel. Im so loving that show, last night i even thought its worth having on dvd so youth centers can see what kind of topics they should be discussing and the mindsets they should have.
*goes to google Vusi....*

The guy is just too smart. I personally think he is one of the few people that need to be out there and being celebrated. That our youth need to be looking up to now.
Jo,at the age of 23 the guy was already doing motivational talks around the world.

I've been following him for a while. Read his blogs on the website.. http://www.vusi.co.za/wordpress/wordpress/

Remember when we were talking about "Some guy on TV' the other day.. He's the one that I heard talking about women and handbags - which is exactly what our sis'Thandaza is doing.

He is for me just theeee standard for SA youth ...i feel you!!!

On a light but not quite light note*, i Just watched a little clip, ...and saw the all stars he seems to wear. Its one of the things that caught my attention on the first episode of ODL. Just interesting***

i browsd thru several vids and he's all wearing suites:(...bummer!, but i also see him rocking spoti lol...in one of  the vids he speaks about wearing it. Simple staff..yet speaks volumes....gosh and he's funny!

He is for me just theeee standard for SA youth , sadly as you say people like him arent the ones that the youth get to see and hear a lot. Im happy that this show brought him and the entire ODL gang to us who ddnt know him before...

So Pheko still loves Thandaza, when did Pheko realise he still loves Thandaza.

After or before he had she is marrying Ranthumeng?

Typical men

Green.arrow
25 Feb 2011 11:38

Folowing our observation of what sounds like arrogance from the guy plays Ranthumeng (dorp to dorp)...I Couldnt help thinkin this crazy thought last night during the Mokwena dinner scene ne...: I kinda felt* that Ranthu's attitude towards Pheko; the snubbing him and being annoyed by his presence looked very very real. Its like the you are here to steal my woman (to Pheko)  and  the you come to the soapy to steal my leading man spotlight (to Raps) kinda mixed up there...lol...*naughty troublemaking laughter*...couldnt help thinking this last night....
