Kelsey Grammer is planning a lavish wedding reception to celebrate his nuptials to Kayte Walsh today (25.02.11).
The 'Frasier' star and his bride will treat their reported 150 guests to a $215-per-person multi-course meal - including andouille en croute, slow-roasted turkey breast with chorizo stuffing and braised short-ribs - the at the Plaza Hotel's Grand Ballroom in New York City.
There are a number of options for the vegetarians in attendance - including 29-year-old Kayte - with goat's cheese truffles and wild mushroom risotto on the menu.
Famed food designer Sylvia Weinstock has created a decadent cake - though notes on the menu obtained by gossip website TMZ state it is for "display only" - to accompany a series of desserts such as bittersweet chocolate tart.
Revellers will also be offered a selection of wines.
The generous bride and groom will throw a lavish after-party in the evening for their guests with a premium open bar including wine, beer and cocktails.
A source has previously revealed that British-born Kayte has taken charge of the wedding planning.
They said: "Kelsey and Kayte have booked the Plaza ballroom for the reception. Despite the lavish surroundings, they want an intimate wedding with less than 150 guests. Kayte has laid out all the details, all the timings. The room will be decorated all in white, including a white cake. There will be a very tight guest list, and they won't allow cameras in. They're flying a lot of Kayte's family members in from England and putting them all up at The Plaza."
Kelsey, 56, started dating Kayte just a few months after splitting from former wife Camille Grammer - with whom he has two children Mason, nine, and six-year-old Jude - last July after 13 years of marriage.
