The houses have merged.Really?
Oh my gosh, what a surprise!
OK, so if you didn’t pick up the dripping sarcasm on that one, then you must be one of the only people out there in the BBA universe who was ACTUALLY surprised that the Heads and Tails houses have merged as one.
In a predictable, but still kind of confusing move, all housemates are now living as one big happy family. But with two prizes up for grabs, one can’t help but wonder why merge at all?
And as with families - the four-day rule (that’s the amount of time it takes for you to get sick of and start bickering with your family) comes into play, except this time, because it’s reality TV and the house is filled with a bunch of big egos all thinking they’re the shizniz, and well, yes because this is the Amplified show, four days in the real world is about the equivalent of … oh, I’d say about four minutes in the BBA house.
That’s about how long it took for the claws to come out!
Most housemates are not too pleased with the merge, as they still think there will only be one winner; they see the extra housemates as competition for the moolah.
Some also see competition of other sorts - think Milli, who sees the stunning Weza as competition, and for good reason.
I saw the tall Angolan babe deliver a long, lingering, sensual kiss on Alex over the weekend, and all I can say is she knows she’s got the goods and she knows how to use it to her advantage.
Pretty sure Alex was on cloud nine at that point. I wonder what went on in Alex’s head, or … uhm, other areas of his anatomy!
Jealousy Makes You Nasty
Yep, Weza is simply one of those extremely blessed woman and it’s quite natural that she should engender feelings of jealousy in other also beautiful (but nowhere in her league) women.
I think it’s definitely safe to say she’s the hottest woman in the house by far. Plus she’s smart, she knows how to get people on her side and she doesn’t mind using her sexuality to get it. Now if that isn’t guaranteed to get other beautiful woman to hate you, then I don’t know what is!
I guess I’d probably hate her too if I was living in a house with her! Luckily I’m not.
Lots of nasty gossip is swirling around the house, with Milli being chief in the Weza-haters club. Apparently Milli heard that Weza allegedly said Felicia was a witch and now she feels ‘so sorry for Weza …’
Yeah right sister, let’s just call a spade a spade and step aside. As Aunty Moana (Weekender agony aunt) would say, ‘we can’t all be blessed in equal measure’.
Just be happy with who you are and don’t try to break other women down by spreading malicious gossip, just ’cos you are feeling a bit jealous.
Admittedly it’s not only Milli who has been spreading the goss on Weza, lots of the other gals in the house have too. Remember ladies, jealousy makes you nasty, nasty makes you ugly and we don’t want that now do we?
Overwhelming
At this point in the game the prize money is becoming much more of a reality for housemates, with many needing to restrategise. Big time.
Weza was apparently quite pensive during all the hoopalah surrounding the merge, sitting quietly in the garden with Luclay - who also seemed to greet the news with a certain measure of stoicism.
Vina, Sharon O and Milly even made a girl pact, hoping that will ensure they stay ’til the final - but if I were either of them I wouldn’t trust Vina as far as I could throw her. The girl is about as fake as that horrible English accent.
At first I thought she was cute and bubbly but those crocodile tears spilled at the news of Felicia’s eviction on Sunday just put me off her completely. Not to be trusted that one, just have a feeling.
Vimbai was a bit overcome by the whole thing, poor thing - luckily she had Wendall’s lovely toned arms to comfort her. The two of them have been dancing around each other for a while now, with Vimbai openly admitting to the girls a few weeks ago that she had a huge crush on him.
For his part, I really do think he likes her, perhaps he’s a bit scared of the whole ‘Black Girl, White Boy’ thing, but he certainly encourages the whole touchy feely vibe between them but hasn’t really made a move to take things to the next level.
Most peeps in the house keep referring to the mayhem they plan to cause come August 1, when the winner will be announced. Caught Kim the other day saying: “let’s just keep up appearances for now but come the finale, it’s on!”
That, I am sure, it definitely will be.
We’re almost heading into the home stretch of the show and this is where things go to a whole other level. Keep watching as the claws really and truly come out!
