Coming up on Carte Blanche this Sunday (29 June):
Freedom to Stalk
Stalking is a word sometimes used lightly, but imagine having your movements so severely restricted by a former partner that you’re terrified to go home in case that person is at your gate. Your heart sinks every time your mobile phone rings … And despite anti-harassment laws, police don’t take you seriously. Carte Blanche speaks to people whose lives have been irrevocably changed by stalking.

Free State Health
Conditions at state hospitals in this province are said to be at an all-time low, with shortages of drugs and life-saving medical equipment. Carte Blanche finds out what the prescription is and why controversial Health MEC Dr Benny Malakoane isn’t able to fill it.

DemoCRAZY
Humour, it’s been said, can reduce society’s political anger by combining artistic skill and satire to draw attention to social ills. A cartoonist, who’s been doing it better than most since the dawn of democracy, is Jonathan Shapiro. Carte Blanche finds out what fuels Zapiro.
