About Nthabiseng
Born and raised in Mamelodi, Pretoria, Nthabiseng was introduced to sign language through the Disabled People of South Africa (DPSA). She was intrigued and fascinated by the language so she took it further by learning the basics and volunteering at the Deaf Federation of South Africa (DFSA) where she later got her first job as a sign language interpreter.
In 2008 she became the provincial Sign Language Interpreter in Mpumalanga, where she had to coordinate sign language interpreting for the whole province and render sign language interpreting service. She has interpreted for the Mpumalanga Legislature Parliamentary sittings, the Premier's Office, the Office of the Presidency, Wits University, the Tshwane Council sittings and various government departments.
In 2009, she graduated at the North-West University in Sign Language Interpreting and pursued a freelancing career in Gauteng. In 2014 she joined e.tv’s morning show
