M-Net Edge recently celebrated the channel's first birthday with a shindig at Turbine Hall in Joziburg and it was an edgy freak-fest, starring characters and vibes from shows on the channel.
The venue was divided into different rooms and crevices and everywhere you went there was someone lurking or something eerie going on. The only way to describe it properly is for you to step into the party yourself...
The first creep I came across shortly after I arrived. I stared at him lot, circled his cage with a sense of power that he couldn't get me, I stared at him more and next thing he let out this huge roar that left me screaming my lungs out in the middle of the party, ha!
The floor decor.

The snack tables. They moved as if they were at a Madhatter's tea party. There were a bunch of them who walked and twirled as guests grabbed snacks off them.
K or L... I can't remember who was who. There was a real snake and a real croc. One was called L and the other K...
Nunu. (Not the guy obviously)
The party decor. Bottled body parts were scattered all over the place.
More decor. The hott nurse you really want but know you definitely shouldn't have.
Angle grinding chickitas provided outside entertainment. There's a girl under all the angle grinder stuff, lying on a bed of nails.
The two headed girl from American Horror Story: Freak Show - I think that's who she was. There were two of them but they gave the impression of being one.
Guests could have their faces painted into Scary by this make-up artist who was as ominous as she looks.
Guests could also get free tattoos. They couldn't be large because of the time it would take but you could get small ones.
The creepazoid baby who got proceedings started when the birthday cake emerged.
The cake which I didn't get to taste because I forgot to find out how to get a slice. I was too busy snapping pics of these butlers who spent the evening serving guests injections of caramel Vodka shots. Delish!
