The new anthology series American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson starts on FOX tonight (at 20h10) and I can't wait to see it because it's surrounded by juicy stuff, starting with the actual story.
It's a 10-episode series that follows the 1995 trial of O.J. Simpson when he was charged with the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. It follows events from the perspective of all of the lawyers involved.
Cuba Gooding, Jr. plays OJ and Courtney B. Vance and John Travolta play O.J.'s famous lawyers Johnnie Cochran and Robert Shapiro, who were on his defence "Dream Team".
Interestingly he had another important member of his team who's in the thick of things in the show: Daddy Kardashian, Robert, who was very tight with O.J. In fact, they were such good friends that O.J. moved into his house after the murders. Events happened after Robert and Kris Jenner were divorced but the Kartrashian family features in the show too.
David Schwimmer plays Robert, film and TV actress Selma Blair plays Kris and this is who plays a young Kim...
Newcomer actress Veronica Galvez in her first TV role. A comparison with a young Kim in real life:
There aren't loads of scenes with the family apparently but they appear in between and Kim's bedroom features predominantly in a scene where O.J. wields a gun, threatening suicide.
